Best investment I've made in years!
I purchased this almost two years ago, and I was concerned it would not work well because I knew my shop vac has more power. I'd say this has about 70% of my shop vac's power. Since buying this I have used it well over 100 times, and I have only used my shop vac about 3 times. This little thing works great, and 95% of the time it does the job. Only in extreme cases did I need my shop vac. Most of the time I'm cleaning the garage, the work shed, the fireplace, my RV, the Bar-B-Q, etc. Battery life is fine, I mostly use the off brand batteries and have had no problems. Super lightweight, reliable and worth the month. I really recommend this, I wish I bought it about 50 years ago!

Absolutely perfect
Definitely worth it. Compact, lightweight and powerful. Using it for 9 months to remove dust and water (removing the filter of course) and it’s absolutely perfect. 4-5 Ah battery is enough for my operations

Excellent!!!!!
I’m a huge dewalt fan. All my power tools are dewalt cordless from when I was a contractor. Standard 5ga shop vacs are great they just take up a lot of room. The thing I like about this is obviously it’s cordless which is a huge plus. But also this is super light and compact so I can store it on a shelf and off the ground. This has plenty of suction power but as with all things battery operated just understand you’ll have to switch out batteries. We just broke ours in and our son vacuumed out our car and I vacuumed out the closet where our furnace is to get all the accumulated dust away from the air return filter. I already love this thing and can’t wait to use it again!

Beware-inaccurate description is shown
Beware-inaccurate description is shown. The description I read indicated unit can run on battery or be plugged in. Received the item and it ONLY runs on battery power. There is not any way to run from AC power. One downside of the battery is that it's very difficult to slide the battery out of it's slot. Suction is just barely ok in my opinion.

Best small cordless vac I have ever used
If you're looking for a solid portable cordless vac with attachments and power this is the one. A little disappointing that I had to figure out which battery to buy separately. I ultimately fastened clips on the top to hold two pipe extensions. If the vacuum already came with this it would be perfect.

Great little vacum
Love this little workhorse of a vacuum. Strong suction and the max battery seems to last a long time. Love not having to deal with a cord. Switch could be located into a more user friendly location otherwise a great product.

Excellent Vac
Not sure what there is to say, other than you can't beat Dewalt ;) I do wish it was like the older version with the option to plug it in. Great product. Perfect size. Easy to carry.
