thrilled with this purchase
The media could not be loaded. I've got all cameras installed. Compared to my Arlo, blink and ring cameras, this was a BREEZE to set up. Very simple wall mount, easy to put together but difficult for anyone to grab and remove. It connected to my wifi immediately. Instructions did not indicate to turn off your phone VPN during set up, so that's important. However, they are semi charged so it didn't take 5 hours to charge from zero charge. It took about an hour to fully charge the first thing I really appreciated is that the app tells you when the camera is charged so you can unplug it (during initial set up). This has a lot of features I didn't read about that are a helpful unexpected bonus, such as the ability to NOT have alerts for vehicles. The cameras have a calibration feature, so once you get it in the preferred location, you calibrate the camera to it's location.you don't need a subscription, but can get one for the cloud. You add a 128 mg memory card in each ptz camera, and any video or pictures are stored there. However, it includes a 1 tb tower that the cameras connect to, and I'm not sure how pictures are stored there. Your video and pictures on the memory card are auto encrypted, but to see the full pic/video... You have to wait about 15 seconds for it to decrypt. This prevents stealing the pictures or hacking your signal to get pictures. So it's important to set the alerts to send a snapshot for immediate viewing. It will also just send a text. Also, the memory overwrite itself when full, and offers the ability to download them, crop, share, etcAlso, don't set up the features and camera names until the cameras are placed, or you may wind up doing it twice as I did.Another nice feature is the ability to set 4 standard views per camera, but you can also manually pan, tilt, zoom. You snooze the camera which was very effective while my handyman was running around outside.A very nice find is the kit includes the wall mounts, 10 ft type c cords, screws, etc. you don't need to buy anything to get them mounted. The cameras have 10 different chime options, which is nice to differentiate cameras. You can set them to monitor continuously, or only notify for humans, cars, other, or all. If you live on a busy street and don't want to see cars driving by, this is nice. You use OTHER to detect pets... Or wildlife. The ptz features work very well, and It seems to be learning. It has an AI feature that you can disable. I'm testing it out. You can also share your videos and pictures with the manufacturer to get points you can use for purchases. I'm not sure how many points it takes for that to be helpful. The cameras work with Google and Alexa. It was very easy to connect to this, but I googled the instructions. The batteries are built in, and I'm not sure if you ever replace them since you'd have to take it apart to do that, those batteries cost about $50.Once you plug the solar thing into the camera, the apps tells that it is charging and the source of power and the percentage of battery remaining. It records sound, and caught me talking to the handyman and it was easy to understand what was said. It idea a snooze feature as well to stop alerts, starting at 30 minutes with 4 other time settings.I haven't figured out how to talk to anyone thru the camera yet. There's even more settings, but that's all I can think of now. The most time consuming part was clocking around in the app to see all the features and what they do.One last thing, the app for the store to purchase is not the save app for the cameras. But both apps have the same name, just different colors. The picture in the day and night is crystal clear. It's 2k, but you can reduce it to 1080p or 720. Also it will auto downgrade and upgrade the recording speed based on your network.Because the pan is 360 degrees, and includes tilt and zoom .. you really can put it anywhere as long as the solar charger is within 10 feet of the camera. The 5 cameras replaced 10. I have a lot of angles, so this is a time saver. Also, since it is self charging, no need to climb ladders to change batteries every few months.I also got the smaller non ptz camera, and it works great too, just no pan or tilt. The zoom goes 8x I think and doesn't pixelate ... It remains clear. The cameras do need to be set up in the lower band of 2.4 ghz (is that right number), but once set up .. you can move your phone back to the higher GHz.. but the cameras can hook directly to wifi or to the included base.

This Set Does the Work of 9 Blink Cameras
You will be glad you bought these. My 9 Blink cameras couldn't hold a candle to this 2 camera system AND I don't have to pay for a subscription. After a rainstorm, 2 of my Outdoor 4's were fried and 90 percent of the time my cloud videos would not load in ideal conditions. I was over it. These are a bit pricey I thought but seem to really be worth it. Anyways just use Affirm and you'll never even miss it!The Eufy system was relatively easy to set up but required a little tweaking to get the cameras to connect to the home base. You cannot run these on 5ghz network; has to be 2.4ghz. Wasn't too difficult to troubleshoot from the router app settings. Mounting was a cinch. Three screws in the bracket and the camera snaps right in. The one that I mounted separate from solar panel required 2 screws to mount that panel the side of the house and has like a ten foot cord to reach the camera. Otherwise there's two little bolt like screws that attach the solar panel right onto the top of the cam. There's an AI tracking setting which is really neat and you can change the speed of the 360 pan and tilt to whip around and follow passersby. Be ready for hours of fun watching your neighbors cover their faces as they run past your house. The picture quality is impressive; very high definition. Crisp clear sound quality, as well. Night vision is OK but if it turns to far and the led illuminates the side of the house, the rest of the picture gets really dark. The solar panels are definitely one of the best things compared to running USB-C cords to those Blink hockey pucks. The Dufy Solocams have been up 2 weeks and the batteries take a full charge daily despite a few overcast days and heavy activity.

Excellent, affordable, high quality camera. Solar works great.
I have tried multiple home cameras (Blink, Ring, Wyze) and the Eufy is by far and away the best.1. Reliability. With the solar panel absolutely zero issues, even in Seattle winter.2. Camera quality. Great, clear images3. Ease of use. Easy to setup, easy app to use. Installing took like 7 minutes.4. Capture quality. Feels secure because it doesn't miss captures like my other units did.Cons:1. Sometimes the microsd card doesn't stay fully in, and you have to push it back in. Only happened on one camera, but multiple times.2. Even on low detection, has some false positives. But less than other brands, and I prefer this to missing things (like my other cameras did).We bought these for our home, and then a month later bought for our second home because they're great.

They do what I need them for.
I originally got this to go outside my home there were a lot of break ins happening to cars. They work okay, the sun keeps them charged but unless they are actually plugged into an outlet you do not get continuous record, it only saves 60 seconds of bits and sometimes stops recording those bits before the time. It skips in time and sometime misses active moments. Picture is great both day/night time. Not sure if there is a function that I don’t know about to fix any of this. But definitely scares people off, they are bulky and everyone knows they will be seen on camera.
