If you have extra dry skin aquaphor is the solution. It is not expensive, works well and is my go-to ointment especially for dry and cracked heals.

I use Aquaphor on my dry lips a lot. I've also used it occasionally at night on my hands with cotton gloves. The next day they feel soft again. My hands and lips are very dry.

Aquaphor is needed for dry skin, lips, hands. There is an open jar in our bathroom at all times.

The only complaint I have is that it is too greasy. It does work to soften and repair dry skin but be prepared to wear clothing to protect all surfaces you may come into contact with. I only use it at night and have to wear socks, long sleeves and long pants so my sheets don't get greased. Does not appear to stain thank goodness. Will be looking for another product that is lighter/absorbs more.

I first learned about aquaphor when I got my first tattoo. It's wonderful. Heals, prevents and fantastic for slathering on feet before adding socks for the night. I also put a little in a tiny chapstick/lipstick cup and use it for my lip moisturizer.

I think my sister would bathe in Aquaphor if she could. I always buy her more as gifts, so she never runs out. It's great for chapped lips and dry skin, especially on your face. Even better than lip balm.
