good quality for overnight oats!
Item as described - happy with it. I've been using it for overnight oats with protein powder, nut butters, chia seeds, some fruit. Mixes quite well with the protein shake overnight. Quality is quite okay, although I prefer chewier rolled oats.Shipping and handling could be a bit better?I bought two of these and a 10kg bag of basmati rice - all came in the same amazon deliver box. I can only imagine these poor Scott's oats boxes being squished by that bag of rice during delivery.I'm actually quite impressed that there wasn't more of the oats that got squeezed out of the boxes. A testament to the durability of the Scott's packaging maybe?

A long time since I have had Scott's Original porridge. Feel like you're eating proper porridge, not that ready break stuff.

It's What's Inside That Counts, Not The Box.
There’s not a lot that can be said about a box of Porridge Oats, but after a hundred and forty five years, Scott’s ought to know what they are doing by now. You can’t pour out of the little slot that someone probably got paid way too much to redesign, you have to tear out to the top of the box. Otherwise it just backs up and refuses to move.It makes great cooked porridge, but I like it with cold water poured over it, left to stand for a few minutes, stir and enjoy. I’ve never been one for smothering porridge with sugar, usually preferring a sprinkle of salt. This is good, seeing as how I’m now Type 2 Diabetic anyway, salt is the way to go, or just as it is.
