This works! Fantastic!! I can't believe I haven't had one of these and was so needed for my garden and grass area. Seems to be reading out pretty accurately. Knowing the pH level is great for making adjustments! Very durable and functions. Really easy. Great value for the money and easy to clean!

We've been trying to determine if our irrigation is sufficiently watering our garden, so we needed a moisture sensor to test. We found this on Amazon and decided to give it a go. So far so good - it tells us whether dry or sufficiently watered as well as measures soil PH and sunlight, both of which are pluses. It's a bit long - fine for our garden but you probably wouldn't want to use it in a flower pot or similar unless fairly large. But overall it works well and does what it should!

Simple, easy to use, wish they would either allow you to adjust the screen so you can actually read it, i would just take a picture of it to read it. Also. I wish the settings would stay, instead of having to switch from C⁰ to F⁰ every use or if I switch from reading temp to pH and back.None of that is a deal breaker. It does what I need. Simple to use. Just minor design feature dislikes

It’s a great gadget to keep track of the health of my plants. Easy to read screen that tells the temperature of the soil, whether if the plant is moist or not. It’s sturdy.

I bought this item several years ago and I thought it worked great. Then it was damaged so I bought another one. I didn't pay close enough attention when I first received it to ensure it worked properly. When I stick it in any soil, I confirm first that the soil is either wet or normal. Then it does a soil reading somewhere in the seven plus range and then it goes down to 7.1 and then either shuts off or just goes to zero. I've stuck it in many different types of soils and it does the same thing. Always 7.1. There's another review on this item that states the exact same issue. I wish I paid more attention to that review because that's exactly what's happening to me. This item is defective but I didn't pay attention till after the 30 days. I tried cleaning it as well with a Brillo pad, no change. It is not accurate.

This has been so helpful as I start my first garden. I can place it in different areas of my garden for any period of time to measure how much light my plants and flowers get. It measures the PH balance in the soil so I can be sure the roots are staying healthy. It has a very easy to read display. And most importantly, it measures the amount of moisture in the soil. This is extremely important living in a very hot climate. As I'm heading into the hottest time of the year this is going to be one of the most important tools in my garden.

It seems to work okay. It is really fragile so I’m not sure how long it will last.

Worth buying. I replaced a cheaper meter which was unreliable. This meter is repeatedly accurate on all of my tomato plants. Now I can manage ph and get the best results from my plants.
