The caravan point has the bonus of having two UK sockets. It arrived well packed and on time, it's simple to fit if you have basic electrical skills - but if unsure get it fitted by an expert. Very happy to be able to apply power to my motorhome when it is stored at home and also able to use the pressure washer from the same socket. Good value for a multi function waterproof caravan station.

Ideal for campervans etc

Whilst, in the UK, this can only be used in a trailer or caravan as it's not metal clad, the build quality seems very good and would accept up to 4mm² cable on the main RCB breaker. I installed a 16a external weatherproof connector to take the 16a blue plugs, cabled with 2.5mm². The cover sits on a gasket to make the unit water resistant. Internal cabling is 1.5mm² which is fine for UK 3-pin 13a plugs. The sockets have sprung loaded flaps, but I would hesitate to say this unit could be mounted externally with these sockets, the 16a sockets are better in this respect. I've fitted internally to a box trailer. I chose the one with 4*3pin sockets for UK mains plugs but I was looking to change one for a weatherproof 16a blue socket, however space is slightly too cramped for the face mounted sockets I bought.

This is proving to be the best Consumer Unit for my needs. Supplying Hybrid EV overnight charging and EHU for Motorhome.
