The media could not be loaded. Bought this to add to my arsenal for dyi wood working. It is bigger than I thought, which makes the price makes sense. It is very well made, feel sturdy to the hand, and the finish is smooth through out (i thought this is quite important because sometimes bumpy paint on the square can cause tiny errors)Now it is very good to check square, draw angle, perpendicular lines etc. but the body is thick so measuring might not be its biggest strength. I suggest to use a thin metal ruler for measuring anyways.

I've been using a 7in Preciva square for about a year now but for some jobs that extra 5in is really handy, especially to use as a quick fence for circular saws, trim routers, jigsaws etc... I've not used this one yet but I've checked it is square & it's very sturdily constructed, so I can't see any reason it won't serve me well for years to come. All of the Preciva gear I've purchased has been top notch at very reasonable prices. Much better than the out of quare Wolfcraft which L ruler, which I believe cost more from B&Q.
