I was very impressed with the quality. Some people complain about how hard the zipper is to zip. I had no problems. It isn't super easy to work the zipper but there is a ring set in the outside of the bag to give you leverage. It's like any waterproof zipper -- if it was really easy to zip and unzip, it wouldn't be waterproof.The pump is fairly useless -- but it really isn't necessary. The directions say to squeeze the air out and then roll it out. With the one-way valve, this got so much of the air out that there was little or none left for the pump to extract. I won't bring the pump with me on my trip.In the process of packing, I've left my bags compressed for a couple of days and there was no air leakage.

Excellent size and easy to use. Just grab the opposing ring while pulling on the zipper. The large fits perfectly in each side of a standard roller carry on suitcase 22.2"high x 14.5" wide x 19.2" deep. The extra large is twice as big as the large so you can fold it in half and it's exactly the same size as two large. One large fits perfectly in a osprey transporter 40.

I bought the vacuum bag because it seemed right for my needs, but Amazon was telling me that this items gets returned a lot, but I was not able to find out why, not even in the reviews, that's why I'm writing this one. It is simple for me, the bag description in the site tells you that the zip is very important to keep the air out of the bag once you take it out. What happened when I received it is that I was not able to open it, the zip will not budge and I was not trying to break it and tried several times to open to no avail, tried to leave it near a window with sun to get it warmed up, and see if the zipper will losen up and open. Did not happen and had to return it. There you go, my reason for why I had to return this item.

This bag helps everything fit in the suitcase. The vacuum is so small. It’s easy to pack and everything does clap down just like the description. I would highly recommend.

Love it. Just so much easy to pack and you can add a few extra if needed. Looking to purchase another. Highly recommended.

Quite nice actually and saved me some space in my luggage. I bought this early Dec 2024 and used it immediately to travel home which worked out perfectly.I used it again for my cruise and the little rubber connected to the hole in the bag came out and whilst it looks as though it can be pushed/forced back in, it was frustrating trying to do so. I used the vacuum with is as it and the suction of the vacuum pulled it back out, so I adjusted it agai manually and travelled with it partially fix. It seems to be holding up (i.e. no air getting in) with speaks volume for the quality of the product. At some point I will try to fix it properly, but we'll see how it works when I go to access and repack my winter clothes...will the lil rubber flap come out again during re-vaccum or will ot stay on place?Ps. I love this brand and think they carry good quality products, but I'm not sure what happened in this case. A replacement would sure be nice as I need this vacuum seal bag to work for my return trip to the Caribbean Jan 2025.

We just bought a backpack with one of these vacuum containers attached to the inside. Then I went hunting on Amazon and found this to me. This is so much better because I can use my existing suitcases. The one I ordered did not come with a vacuum, but I could use the vacuum from my other suitcase that we bought. You can also push a lot of the air out yourself, but I really think that the vacuum works the best.I did get the extra large of this and it was very large! If I would order another one, I’d probably order the large or maybe two larges.. but I would consider ordering another one. I’ve actually given thought to buying some for my kids to help them when traveling.The zipper is really hard to open! Really hard! But it does open – maybe the more I use it it might get easier? But it needs to be tight for the vacuum seal to work. It really did condense my clothes and gave me more room in the suitcase.I really recommend these bags versus buying a suitcase with the bag built into it because I can put all my clothes in the bag, vacuum it, and then put it in whatever suitcase or even duffel bag I needI only gave it four stars because the zipper is really hard to use and the extra large was really big- i’d like to give it 4 1/2 stars but Amazon won’t let us give half stars
