Exceeds expectations; very effective cooling
It's mid May. We've been in above average temperatures and it's more like July than May with quite the heatwave and dry weather going on. My lounge windows are south AND north facing so we get sun all day long. The heat is unbearable! We usually drag out an industrial sized pedestal fan which takes up most of the lounge floor space and doesn't really make a huge dent in the heat reduction. This air conditioner is just amazing! I can't get over just how much of a difference it's made to our room. We are very easily maintaining a room temperature of under 20 degrees. It's usually well into the 30's in there during the summer months even with blinds and curtains closed to keep the sun out. We've even found ourselves turning this machine off because it's become a little too cool! What I really love about this unit is the size and design. Compared to my dehumidifiers, it's a little taller and noticeably slimmer. It fits neatly into a space near to the window. The outlet pipe, despite being quite cumbersome, isn't any issue. Compared to our pedestal fan this takes up barely any space and it doesn't look at all out of place. The machine is mostly white with a slightly blue grey trim which looks sleek and modern. The outlet pipe reminds me of one of my daughters fidget toys because the concertina effect is rigid. Once you pull it into the length, position and shape that fits for reaching the window, it remains in that shape. It's quieter than our pedestal fan. Yes, it blows (amazingly cold) air out and this produces noise. But it's much less invasive noise and in honesty I'd rather be cool and hearing the fan outlet than hot and unable to sit in comfort! The settings are intuitive. I didn't need to read the instructions to understand how to switch the unit on. I'll possibly need to refer to them when I look into the dehumidifier function, just so I can understand the drainage (there isn't a tank), but otherwise it's got a very 'plug and play' type of control panel for cooling the room. You can adjust the output temperature very easily from digital touch controls. There's a remote control included which we haven't needed to use but is equally self explanatory. The unit is heavier than I expected it to be but it comes with casters to help push it into position. Unless you intend to move the unit between two different floors, the unit weight isn't an issue. I didn't appreciate the fact that mobile air conditioners are a little heavier than dehumidifiers so it's worth bearing that in mind if you want something truly mobile (you need good muscles to carry them upstairs).Probably the only slight grumble, is a universal issue I've noticed across the board for all the air conditioners I've looked at. When they come with a panel to fit into the open window for the outlet pipe, they only ever seem to work for sash windows, the ones that slide up or down to open. This is the same. It's a really well made and sturdy window panel but my windows are side opening, as is the case for most of us Brits. For now, I've bought one of those cheap velcro nylon window kits which you fix around the window and it works well enough but I think I'll probably look into making something better with some polycarbonate sheet and the existing panel that comes with the unit.As I sit here writing this, my garden thermometer is reading 28 degrees but I'm sat here nice and cool and comfortable in my lounge. These air conditioner units aren't exactly cheap but I think the price of this unit was excellent value for money, especially for a room that requires cooling for several months of the year. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good purchase
The cooling power is excellent. It cools down our large living room within minutes and maintains a steady, comfortable temperature even during the hottest days. It's also impressively quiet—even on high settings, the noise is minimal, making it perfect for use in bedrooms at night. What really impressed me is the energy efficiency. I was bracing for a spike in my electricity bill, but the unit uses less power than I expected. The remote control is intuitive and user-friendly, and I love being able to adjust settings without having to get up. Overall, this air conditioner has exceeded my expectations in every way—cools quickly, runs quietly, and looks sleek and modern.Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and powerful A/C unit. 5 stars without hesitation!

A great value portable air con unit!
This is a great value air conditioning unit. It is strong and sturdy and seems to perform powerfully, giving a good blast of cold air when operating. It also has a dehumidifier and fan settings which are useful. I like it also because it's a few cm shorter than many on the market, which meant I could position it under a shelf. It came very promptly after ordering with a mainstream courier. It was dead easy to set up - just attach the exhaust hose and put it out of the window, plug it in and off you go. Pop a couple of AAA batteries into the remote control and you're sortedIf you're looking for an affordable air conditioning unit to cool your home down, this is it!

Pretty good, louder than I expected
Pretty goodI got this as a low cost option for cooling in an expected hot summer this yearI’ve tried it out a few times and it definitely worksThe only issue is that it is louder than I expected but I can live with that for a cooler room when the weather is hot (for the whole 2 weeks of summer we get)

Perfect for the summer!
This portable air conditioning unit has been a really great addition to my home. With the warmer weather we've been having recently. it's made a noticeable difference in keeping my living room comfortable. It cools the space down effectively, and I appreciate having the fan and dehumidifier options for days when it's not quite so hot. The sleep mode is also surprisingly quiet, which is a nice touch. The digital display is clear and easy to understand, and the remote control is very convenient for making adjustments without having to get up. Setting the timer is straightforward, which is useful for cooling the room down before I arrive home. It's the perfect size for my living room, and I imagine it would work well in a bedroom too.Overall, I'm really pleased with this portable AC unit. It's a practical and efficient way to manage the temperature in a smaller space, and I'd definitely recommend it to others looking for a similar solution.

Great Air Con Unit
Great little air con unit especially with the warm spell we're having at the moment. Currently it's set up in my bedroom with the hose out the window. The supplied part doesn't fit UK style windows but putting out through a gap in the window works just as well. The room was 24 degrees this morning, switch the unit on for 20 mins whilst I was doing some jobs and when I returned it was down to 17 degrees when I switched it off.The LED display shows current room temperature and is easy to use to control the functions. The remote control is also handy and easy to use.Great little unit with added dehumidifier and ordinary fan. Will try these out later in the year. It's not too loud either which is a bonus and has different speed settings. It's easily portable, not too heavy and is on wheels so can be moved around when needed.
