This product is great at aerating your soil for improved root growth

The best quality coir I’ve come across. No twigs or pieces so short they’re like powder. Hydrates well. A pleasure to use. the only one I’ll buy.

Initial impressions- good value for what you get. Not convinced it is pre-washed and buffered though. I used 5 gallons of hot water (double dosed with cal-mag) to hydrate. Let it sit for a few hours, fluffed right up. I then filled the 30 gallon container it was in with water. After stirring this coco soup :) I let it sit for a few more hours, stirring a couple times. I used a large metal screen to strain out anything not sinking to the bottom while agitating. Got about 15 gallons with very little contamination (aside from a few green strips of husk and a couple of "sprigs" of...something). Coco is otherwise clean and odorless. What surprised me was the amount of sand left in bottom of "wash container". About two cups worth. There was also about three cups of fine coco pith, what I call coco-silt that was removed as well. So if you're familiar wih coco blocks, this is a good/decent value. But Do Not assume it is ready to use immediately after hydrating- wash, rinse, and buff yourself.Giving 4 stars since it is mostly clean and has high fiber to pith content.
