LOVE. The Mini is special.
I am obsessed with Contigo (West Loop especially, bc the lids) and THE MINI is my absolute favorite— as flawlessly functional as other Contigos but fetish-level rare and adorable. I think Amazon is the only place you can get these because they’re not available in the U.S. — are made for the European market (notice ml instead of oz) — and require international shipping (free with Prime). The small ~8-oz size is extra curvy (sweet!) and will conveniently fit in your pocket or small handbag. They’re also perfect for spill-proof cocktails or wine. The colored coating is different than typical Contigos. It looks like a high-end enamel — glossy and thick (hard to scratch). They’re gorgeous — little works of art. I have mine on display in my kitchen. The white and the yellow are especially dazzling.I think these bodies may also be better. I read somewhere that there is a copper layer that aids insulation. I’m not sure if regular Contigo West Loops have that or not, but it seemed it was an upgraded feature. But be aware: The price is typically quite high—close to $60 for each, until they suddenly go on sale and come down to half as much—roughly $30. I splurged and bought my first one at the high price and felt it was worth it. Then it was frustrating to see them suddenly cost half the price. I considered returning my first one and purchasing it anew because the difference was so much, but I just kept it and went ahead and bought two more at the lower price. ha.All the other reviewers can tell you how fantastic the West Loop push-button lid is (and I also like that it does not have that little valley by the drinking spout) but there seems something extra special about the THE MINI. I highly recommend.

Attractive travel mug, with some reservations on price and longevity.
As others have said here, the mug comes without packaging. Personally, that's fine with me. A card ring and instructions on the inside of the thermal mug is fine, but I can see if this was purchased as a gift, it might be an issue. At 300ml this one is a good size for a tea or coffee. Not too unmanageable, not too measly. The white outer coating on mine has an attractive pearl-like finish, showing a subtle glittery finish - it isn't flat white. The lid is rubberised and easy to grip, so that's a plus too - although I'm not sure how that will wear over time. Now, there are a couple of discrepancies between the product and instructions. The instructions state the screw lid clicks shut. Mine doesn't. It screws closed and feels like hard work! Not a major problem, but if dexterity or hand strength is an issue for you, this might be a problem. The instructions also mention a visible highlight on the lock button when engaged. Mine doesn't have one... Unless a black edge on a black button is somehow a highlight! The colour finishes aren't dishwasher safe. Again, not a huge issue to me, but it might be a consideration for you.The spring mechanism employed on the lid is interesting. It works as advertised, but the metal spring is in contact with whatever hot beverage you're enjoying. I can't help but think this spring will be prone to failing over time. We'll see and I'll report back should it fail.Giving the spring mechanism the benefit of doubt, it works fine and the mug keeps my coffee warm all morning. I haven't taken it over three or four hours so far, but I think it would likely keep drinks hot enough for a while longer. Now for the price. At almost thirty pounds, I've knocked a star off on value and it's tricky to recommend at that price given the plentiful competition. In the high teens, I think it would be worth recommending.
