But the design of the lipstick is unbelievable the case is stunning and has a really satisfying magnetic closure but by far the most amazing thing is the incredible carved out picture on the actual lipstick itself! Stunning and very good value for money with plenty of thickness for the lipstick

I’m so impressed with Catkin - I’ve bought 2 lipsticks and a mascara so far. This honestly knocks spots off most of the viral and far more expensive (and less beautiful) Korean make-up. The lipsticks are moisturizing, the colours have lovely depth and longevity is pretty good. Even the semi-matte finish doesn’t dry out my lips and I’m old 😂 I also haven’t got the feathering into my lip lines. In truth I thought the products would poor quality with the (stunning) carving being a bit of a gimmick, but I was wrong. Catkin convert. And to clear, this it not a paid review and I didn’t have any free products!

The packaging is beautiful and the magnetic closure of the case is very satisfying. The colour of the lipstick (Gobi) worked well for me and looked good when first applied. However I was disappointed with how long it lasted. I had to reapply it more frequently than other lipsticks I own. The carving is cute but a bit gimmicky. I found I got an occasional small clump of lipstick from the outer carved bits breaking off. Probably more 3.5 out of 5 for me.

Find it so hard to get a good quality lip stick, but this was good, still using it, love the colour and so pretty when you first open it.

So the lipstick itself is gorgeous. Lets be real, it’s what makes most or us buy it. The lipstick itself though… a bit on the dry side and it definitely needs a lip liner. I like it, it’s a pretty true nude (not leaning either pink or peach), but have your lip balm ready cause your lips will feel chapped. Naturally with my need to over apply lip balm, i am not getting super long wear out if it but oh well. Also, I found that a piece of lipstick started falling apart after a couple uses. I definitely don’t have time to stick it back together

This is my favorite lipstick now, i will order other lipstick again. So light feeling, very good semi-matte and the looks are so classy.
