This pencil case really does look good. It also look a little different than the usual KomalC products I've purchased. It is a lighter leather with a noticeable grain. This is not to say that it is inferior! In fact, you may consider it slightly higher quality. Unlike other pouches I've purchased from KomalC, this one has a fabric liner inside both pockets, and has grabby handles at either end of the main zipper to facilitate opening and closing. The zippers are single-stitched and plastic (not metal) with metal sliders and leather pulls.As long as you're not playing fetch with it, the single-stitched zippers should last a long time. This would make a great gift for an artist, a student or an on-the-go professional who like old-world quality.Measurements:The pouch is 8" long, about 3-3/4" tall (not including the zipper grabbies).The main pocket is about 3½" deep, 7¼" long and 2" wide at the bottom. It tapers up to about ½" at the top. The zipper opening is 7" long.The smaller pocket is about 2" deep and 6-3/4" long. The zipper opening is 5-3/4" long.

i am in the high end commercial HVAC industry. Which means I have all my tools (well over 30lbs) in my leather tool belt, which is on me at all times. But there isn't a pocket on my belt for little things like impact bits/accessories and I was constantly dropping them out of the pouches of my tool belt. At best that means I loose them constantly, at worse I could really hurt someone. Even a little impact driver bit could severely injure someone if it were dropped on Them from 16-stories up. So, I. Realized what I needed was a bag with a zipper. There are cloth bags like that by Klein and others, but they were way bigger than u was going to need. Plus, I wanted it to be. leather so it would match my leather tool belt (insert joke about construction worker needing to accessorize and match his other leather, hahaha) to hold all the small things (#blink182, hahaha). It has been working great, and matches my leather tool belt! It zips up, has multiple pockets, and a durable leather tab to slip a clip through and attach to my tool belt, so all the smaller tools I need are always right with me. I won't have to keep paying $5, and an hour of my time to Lowe's, everytime I lose a bit AND... my co-workers below me are safer. I don't know if the reasons you are in the market for a zipping leather pouch are the same as my reasons, but for $14.99 it isn't a nice convenience for me.... It is now one of my required items for me when I am at work.... AND I have matching leather accessories!!! Let's just say, thanks to the "KomalC Vintage Leather Pen Pencil (or tool, hahaha) Pouch" i am the talk of, and the Envy of, the job site!!!

I like this pencil case very much. I’m a bit of a pencil freak and going back to school so I have a very cool selection to bring with me. This case holds many,many mechanical pencils and erasers. The zip side part is plenty roomy for lead,erasers and sharpeners. It’s exactly what I was looking for. The leather is great, the way it’s put together, I have nothing negative to say at all! Love it!

Received item very quickly. Purpose for my everyday toiletries to neatly fit in my handbag. Its made of soft leather which appears to be very durable. Had a similar item used for the same purpose daily for over 8 years. Prefer leather to fabric case which may get wet when being used at the tap. Can easily clean the leather with hand towel soap or sanitizer in these days of Corona virus.Highly recommend even for the intended purpose, a pencil case

This is such a nice thick but soft leather pouch. The zippers work well. It is a small size but that is exactly what I needed. I use it to make a travel blessings kit and have repurchased it numerous times since I was so pleased with it.

Im pleased with my product. Wish it had the makers mart on it. Im proud that this company was created in Lyncburgh Tennessee. But since ordering my first cross body bag, I feel they have went to a cheaper type of leather.

This bag fits so many things in it. Colored pencils, mechanical pencils, a white-out ez correct, fat highlighters, mini post-its, paper clips, pens, sharpies etc. It seems to be very good quality, perfect size for my backpack!

Since a young age I have been a huge fan of small leather goods like this beautifully crafted pouch. When I ordered it I did not even know what I would use it for, but ultimately decided to pack my toothbrush, paste, floss, lip balm, and wipes in here. Not only is it a perfect fit, but nobody bothers me when I leave it at my desk at work vs them being annoyed about it.
