Shadow X keyboard is a great value for the $40 that I paid for it. Nice looking board, solid 2.4 and Bluetooth hookup. Had to download the software to make some key re-assigns, change the RGB variation, and update the screen to my local time. Pretty easy. As expected the "Bluebird" switches it came with are terrible. Quickly swapped them out for some Duroc Burgandy Tactiles that I had around (planning to mostly type on the board). Board has a nice feel and look and is reasonably thocky. Not a custom CNC aluminum chasis or anything, but for $40 you can't go wrong.

This keyboard is, without a doubt, a perfect choice for anybody starting or picking up a new 'board for their setup!I didn't browse enough EPOMAKER brand keyboards before this one because the Shadow-X alone stuck out in the listings like seeing that classroom crush at school every time, except I didn't make a move until I saw the sale listing go down to little less than $40. Jokes aside, this model was always on my mind, even after owning at least 5 different 'boards at this point, but now I wish I went with this one before the picking up the others.It's thocky, clean, and comes with nice utilities to compliment all your desktop leisure and enjoyment. Gaming much? The Flamingo switches (selected in the drop-down menu) are smooth, light, and responsive for both casual and competitive gaming. Typing and internet browsing? Not only is it sporting itself off like a fine luxury vehicle in the form of a keyboard, the LED display and wireless nob, that provides a connection between 3 different devices via Bluetooth AND the 2.4 wireless dongle, adds power to play in all private activities while browsing the web. The display screen shows battery life, time of day, weather, and whether you are connected via Bluetooth, Dongle, or Wired.Also, console friendly for game chat, swapping to keyboard (if the game allows alternating controllers like Fortnite), and quick browsing the game store online or various apps.It's very useful without any hassle! It comes with features I didn't think I needed or wanted in the first place, but it's definitely a highlight. Overall quality is impressive. Some may complain about the plastic body, but it's not a real issue in this case since the switches, gasket, and foam create a pleasing poppy-like thock noise to your typing. In the end, I highly recommend this keyboard; it's constantly on sale throughout the year, you don't need much customizing or spending compared to top brand models, and it already makes desktop life easier.Don't skip this if it's definitely on sale, because it is worth the price and called a steal when it is. Not the end of the world but I can see dead pixels on the top of the screen. I ordered a replacement and it also has dead pixels at the top lol. Might just have terrible luck. Images of others who purchased this same keyboard seem to have the top row of pixels fully there, unlike mine. Tested multiple images and the issue is still there. Both keyboards going back I guess.

Can’t believe the quality for the price. It’s an excellent keyboard and the screen is really cool. Feels and sounds like a keyboard that would be much more expensive. Switches sound amazing. Tempted to buy another.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using this keyboard for about 6 months and I don’t know how more people aren’t talking about this keyboard. I spent the longest time researching to find the best mechanical keyboard and this is it, by a long shot… I would say it’s the perfect beginner mechanical keyboard for the price but it’s not even beginner level, this thing is professional grade quality for a beginner price. Once you buy this keyboard you will never buy another, and the high quality screen is such a fun feature, speaking of features the ability to pick what NAME BRAND switches it comes with is amazing, if i could give it 6/5 stars i would.

This is exactly what my kid wanted and he loves it. I tried it and I really like it too. Just what we wanted.

the switches are good, though I am no expert and am more of a quieter fan. the keyboard itself is fun, and a decent size for short travel. I use mine mostly for note-taking for DND. it could be used for writing out in public. the battery lasts longer than the 4-5 hour DND sessions at which it's normally around 70%. I did replace the keycaps, and switches and added rings, but the stock keyboard is nice as is. very nice keyboard overall
