Thjis gauge stand is everything I was expecting.It was easy to assemble, it is sturdy and feels well made.I am happy and I would buy again.5 STARS

Quality materials. Sturdy construction. Heavier than I expected. I need longer poles but that's not an option so I had to make my own.

Mxmoonfree Force Gauge Stand Manual Force Test Stand Push Pull Gauge, Hand Wheel Operated, with 250mm/9.8’’ Stroke, 2 Pcs Testing Clamp, for Compression and Tension Testing (for ZMF model Force Gauge)like i said i am giving it a 4. i think for the class it is in that makes sense. becasue it essentially is a platform for the push pull gauge to work in a fairly precise manner. but golly, there are some things that make it a chore to use. and after doing some research, the things i wanted this to do, seem only available on much more premium units. first, the mounting plate only has 8 holes. it is steel. but if you are getting one of these you probably have a square, a few drill bits and a drill, so you can modify it pretty easily if needed. it fit my gauge without modification. i used the screws that came with my gauge, but added 3/8" stand-offs between the plate and the gauge as the ride bar is really close to the work area. really big complaint, is the knob to rotate the threaded rod seats on a round shaft and set with a set screw. seems like it would be way better to have a slot or flat ont he top that the knob could slide onto and be usuable without having the need to always set the set screw. for instance if you wanted to use a drill to quickly raise or lower the gauge plate. and that is the second complaint. seems like a missed opportunity to not have a slip-joint of some kind to quickly raise or lower it by pushing a button that disengages the acme thread. because as it is, it takes forever to move tthe plate up and down, by rotating the knob.and finally, another ease of use issue is the gauge only has one working end. it does both push and pull force. but you basically run 4 screws thru the mounting plate into your gauge, and it is set for one direction. seems like there should be some sort of slip-joint thingy so that you could with say loosening a wingnut flip the whole plate around to dot he opposite direction. the way this works you have to undo all your screws and detach and reattach in the new orientation that suits you purpose. and if you are really fussy and decide to square it and calibrate it each time its orientation is switched, thats alot of unnecessary work.so as i said. for its class this seems like it is a solid device that should yield accurate within reason measurements. but it is not exactly a user friendly interface.
