I moved from the Apple Watch to the Garmin Forerunner 965 mainly to improve my fitness tracking and get more battery life — and after a month of use, I’m genuinely impressed. The only thing I miss from the Apple Watch is the ability to unlock my other Apple devices, but everything else has been a major upgrade for my needs.The workout tracking is incredibly detailed, and I feel like I have much more control over my routine. It’s also noticeably lighter on the wrist, and the sleep tracking has been phenomenal — much more insightful than what I was used to. Heart rate monitoring is spot-on, and I love how easy it is to check during a workout thanks to the bright, easy-to-read screen.Another bonus I didn’t expect to enjoy so much is the automatic rep tracking for strength exercises. It gets it right most of the time, and it’s simple to adjust when needed. Pairing with my iPhone was seamless, and the Garmin Connect app really complements the watch well — it gives you a full picture of your health and performance.

The watch is amazing! This is my third generation of Forerunner watches and this totally blows the last one away. The array of watch faces and apps that are available will blow you away. And everything is customizable. Delivery was made just as promised. Outstanding!

Garmin has done it again. Another great triathlon watch. Since my first forerunner around 2010, I have been a loyal and repeat customer of Garmin and they have yet to disappoint and this watch is in line with their superior quality. The value for the money is worth it and then some. Whatever issue you have, you just call garmin and they will do everything to get you fixed up. It looks very sleek as all their forerunner line does, the heart rate data and the unlimited features offers more than most of use will ever do with the watch. A definite recommend if you are looking for a triathlon watch.

Great watch with questionable longevity in heavy outdoor use.

I've been a Garmin fan for 5+ years. I wore my previous forerunner 24/7 and loved it. But after that time, I was looking for an upgrade.I've have the Forerunner 965 for about a month now and I'm really happy with it. The battery lasts a good week plus (I kind of loose track at that point). The running features are really top notch, from tracking, stats while running, race planning, etc. The body battery feature is really cool and so far has been pretty spot on for how well I sleep and how much energy I'll have. The nap feature is also neat, despite my only taking the occasional nap.The touchscreen is very responsive and a nice upgrade from my previous Garmin. I also like the touchscreen disables during workouts so I don't accidently mess with settings. The watch feels very durable and a month of constant wear shows no marks or damage at all.All-in-all, I'm really happy with it and plan to keep wearing it 24/7.PS - Garmin's customer service has always been top notch whenever I've needed them.
