I have been wanting to write a review on these for quite some time.I bought these as a replacement to the steak knives we use in our home kitchen which were falling to bits (handles coming off etc)With first use I noticed how much larger these were than our previous steak knives. This took some getting used to and now the older steak knives feel smaller and inferior.They have gone through the dishwasher at least 500 times and they have not fallen apart. However, the black colouring on the blades has come away.When they arrived and were brand new, they looked like a very high quality set of kitchen steak knives and I was very pleased with them. Despite the fading of the black, I am still VERY pleased with them.If you can live with the fading paint then you won't be disappointed with this purchase.Strong buildWell designed handle for providing a better hold for cutting into those tougher steaks.Blades are sharp and cut through tougher steaks more easily.These should have a flashier name Katana steak sword or have a Samurai logo to represent how much better they are than your average steak knife.I would give 6 stars if the paint did not come off.

Very light,sharp east to use

So fed up with knives going blunt, even my expensive ones, that I thought I would try cheaper ones. So far they have been good but who knows how long they will last. Very good price.

Good steak knives but on the large size!

Great value for money & very surprised at the quality of these steak knives. They’ve stayed super sharp & haven’t seem to become chipped either. Also ergonomic & nice to hold!

The blade are not strong, got two of mine broken at the tips already. Pretty sharp, good grip for me.

Bought these as the arthritis in my hands is getting worse...great grip...and great quality
