Good photo and video quality, but otherwise performs poorly
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was trying to capture images and/or video of night-time forest dwellers that have been raiding my backyard bird feeders nearly every night. The BTC-4E22 was not up to the task. Its shortcomings: 1) Motion sensor does not trigger on small animals; my squirrels play within 15' but only photos are when wind moves trees in background; 2) Night video length seems to be 2-9 sec. max, in spite of any settings; 3) Timelapse photo feature works ONLY IN DAYLIGHT; 4) Reaction time is very slow, with a first photo often showing the target animal in the middle of frame; 5) There is no time-of-day start/stop feature, so I could not get just night time photos; 6)Field of view is very narrow, so close wide shots are not possible; 7) Neither flash range nor motion sensitivity are adjustable. For these reasons I returned the product.

Overall decent camera
Photo quality is lacking a bit but shutter speed was more what I was buying it for and that was great!

Awesome Camera - Batteries & SD Card NOT Included
Camera is fantastic, crystal clear daytime and nighttime pictures. We have purchased (same price) the "bundle" from a different retailer and the batteries and SD card were included as advertised. This is NOT a bundle. This purchase was fulfilled by Amazon so the "seller" directs you to Amazon and Amazon says they cannot provide the omitted items. Amazon's fix for the issue is to "return" the camera. Find the camera bundle elsewhere and you'll get what was advertised.

Bought this as a gift for my husband. We get a lot of deer passing through the back of our property. Takes good pictures and now we know what time they usually show up.
