I recently used the 21x16 Chefman Electric Warming Tray for a big dinner and it was a game-changer. With only an air fryer and a double electric hob available, this tray was perfect for keeping food warm while juggling multiple dishes. It's about the size of a stovetop and the heat levels range from a gentle warm to very hot, enough to cause bubbling in some dishes. However, the temperature knob's marker is difficult to see, making it tricky to set accurately. Additionally, the cord is quite short, but an extension cord solves that problem.The sleek design and ample space were impressive; it seamlessly fit on the dinner table without looking out of place. The heat it generates might affect the finish of nicer tables, so a protective layer is advisable. Despite these minor issues, it performed better than expected and kept our food warm throughout the meal.It’s incredibly useful for large gatherings. We used it to keep various dishes warm, and even at half power, it maintained the perfect temperature. Its elegant design means it can be a permanent fixture on the countertop if needed, though it's wise to protect the glass top.Storing it requires a bit of care due to its glass top, but the ease of cleaning it makes the extra caution worthwhile. Spills were effortlessly wiped away with a sponge and dish soap once the unit cooled down. It stores compactly in its original packaging, which I reinforced for added protection.The tray heats from the bottom, so it needs to be placed on a heat-resistant surface. We used an old barbecue grill outdoors and a granite countertop indoors. Despite frequent use, we have had no issues with its performance. Overall, it’s a valuable addition to our kitchen and will see plenty of use in the future.

Got this for Christmas as there was 8 of us, didn’t need to juggle trying to keep things warm this year as it kept everything hot and could fit a lot of dishes on it . Easy to use, easy to clean, good value you for money

I only had an air fryer and double electric hob to cook Xmas dinner on this year, so I bought this. It kept the food warm on the table while the different dishes cooked. It's roughly the size of a cooker top. Heat can vary from warm to very hot (some things started bubbling!). The only issue was the marker on the knob for setting the temperature is almost impossible to see. So, it's a bit tricky to set. The lead is also quite short, but you can use an extension. In summary, it worked better than expected and also didn't look out of place on the Xmas dinner table. I would mention, that if you're going to use it on a 'nice' table it does generate a lot of heat, so could affect the finish. Not an issue for us, but worth mentioning. Worked well.

Fantastic, works as intended. Keeps my food warm as I am cooking multiple things at the same time. Great when having guests.

I got quite an experience with this warmer. Before I tell the story, let look at the product itself first.First of all it is very practical to use and I like it. The hot surface is big enough to hold meals for the family. I put it on the table top in the winter time so that the food keeps warm until we finish the meal. It can be very hot if you use high setting. It is easy to wipe clean though.One not so good point is there is no indication of what the temperature it is. There is a turning knob of low, medium and high, but it is a gradual turning by guess, and you won't know the temperature other then feel it remotely with your hand. It is also very hard to see where you turn because the indication mark is very hard to see. I recommend using around medium becasuse high is too hot and the dishes dry up too quickly and you may also burn your hand on the side.And then back to my experience. Upon delivery, it comes in directly without any extra amazon box. And you can imagine the result is having the packaging box damaged, the sylofoam inside is damaged and the warmer is very dented at a side. It cannot even stand still but wobbling. Then I arranged a return to Amazon and got a replacement the next day. The replacement is having the same problem of delivery without extra protection and again the warmer is dented as you can see in the picture. However it does not affect the usage so I did not complain.But why I do not return the second one when it is still dented? Because the returning of products to Amazon was such a pain. As usual Amazon ordered a return product collection from Evri. But if you have ever used their services, you may know how I feel. The next day collection never happened, and they reschedule at least 5 times. Every time no driver came to collect and lie about no one at home. They even cancel the order and ask me to request the collection again. I call Amazon to re-do a collection. Again, no driver came, and auto reschedule. This whole situation lasted for more then a week. And after daily waiting in vain and complaining daily to robots at Evri, a human talk to me at last. Finally I have a lucky day and one driver came and collected it, after at least 7 rescheduling.Unless absolute necessary, I do not ever want to do a return collection again. Since this item is kind of heavy to carry to a collection point, and too big for a drop off locker box, I need a driver collection which is so hard to get.If you order this item beware that it might be damaged with the poor packaging, and make sure you have a nearby collection point so that you can carry the item to return in case you need that.

Broke after 5 months of use (used once a week). Avoid.

Purchased to help keep food hot when doing a big Christmas dinner for lots of guests. Im glad we got this size as it held everything we wanted. Works as described, easy to use, though full power seemed too hot even for oven proof dishes. We set it at just over half power and it kept our covered dishes hot till we served up. Very happy with this item and it will get more use in the future.

Great for keeping everything warm so that guests can indulge in second helpings.
