I'm sure most people will use these in the blu tooth version, for which I'm sure they are very good,. Here I am reviewing the wird only version that is £70 cheaper, and a real audiophile bargain.First thing to say is these are professional, studio level headphones, so you get a very honest and unadulterated view of music. If you want a smoother, glossier,hi fi presentation you need to look at the Sundara or such.For musical honesty and a very balanced presentation these are just the ticket, superior to the perhaps better known Beyerdynamics (1990) and Sennheisers ( 500/600) studio headphones that both cost more and have lesser sound quality. The Deva Pros wired are transparent, dynamic, large scale and very musical. They have a neutral balance that plays a wide range of music, orchestral to classic rock, at a very high level. You would perhaps have to spend 10 times more to notice any difference in quality.To make them work to that level you will need both a powerful headphone amp, and a quality aftermarket cable that connects to both of the Deva Pros headphone sockets. Once you have done that and run them in for a couple of days you will be treated to sound quality of the highest order.For £160 probably the hi fi bargain of the moment

First time using this type of headphone. It sounds very different to what I have had in the past. The sound staging is brilliant. I’m using on a PS5 for gaming and for music and it’s great with both.I have just bought a balanced cable for it, which means I will only have to use one cable into the headphones rather than two as I don’t personally like headphones with two cables. I’m not going to knock a star off what is just a personal preference though.

Ooops this is either a fake or I’ve just got a set of headphones with both drivers distorting.I’ve had a pair exactly the same and never had a problem.Hey ho send them back.i was kinda looking forward to listening to them.

Had Sennheiser HD 599 before, great headphones, but these are audibly better.Even more so through a balanced output/cable and a good output, like my Fiio K11 Dac. Be sure to choose a good flac or similar. And a good remastered version of some music can also make all the difference. Good headphones won't fix a bad mix.These are more resolving, greater sound stage.Obviously these, being open, are not for use around other people, but I use them on my pc in my room, when coding or just for listening.

Great headphones for the price. The sound is clear and precise. I only have reservations about the cushions. They are awful, this material is made of synthetic material, rough and irritates the skin. I had to buy replacements made of sheepskin.
