This is an initial review since I've only had the flashlight for a few days. It appears to be built to a high standard. Fit and finish is high quality with precise machining. Threaded sections, the battery and tailcap have precise threads. Operation is straight forward and it's nice to have a remote as well as switches on the flashlight body for the various functions. It's heavy, but can be carried in several ways, with or without the handle, or with the included carrying strap. The handle fits comfortably in the hand. The flashlight comes in a nice plastic carrying case. Unfortunately, the first one I ordered had the two case latches broken off, but I returned it and ordered another one with no issues. As far as brightness goes? WOW! I bought this for a beam light as I have a high powered flood light. But the Wuben A1 also has a substantial flood as well as a powerful beam. You really need to be careful where you point this while in the higher brightness modes. It's almost impossible not to laugh when you hit level 5 it's so powerful and I haven't even tried the turbo mode yet. Being so new I can't comment on how well it will hold up over time or what battery longevity will be like. It's expensive to be sure but it really puts a smile on my face.
