Convenient, mostly millet mix
Our birds are hammering this seed mix intently, it’s certainly popular and I expect if little beaks could press a button to give this five stars, they probably would. The speed with which the mix disappears is a strong indicator, and in this case, a positive one.Cynically, and as someone who’s not allowed to eat it, I’m a little surprised how heavy it is on two of the ingredients- the millet and the sunflower seeds. I can see canary seeds and groats in there, but not in great quantities, and the whole thing doesn’t feel quite as exotic and truly mixed. I feel like, for a bit less money (but not loads less), I could buy a kilo of millet and 500g of sunflower seeds separately, mix them together myself, ignore the other two seeds, and the birds would still lap it up.The price isn’t showing as I write this, but it was around fifteen quid when I first saw the listing, and at that price it seems only a tiny bit overpriced. But there’s a definite convenience factor to it, especially with the large plastic ice cream-style tub which is easy to use and has a sensible, easy-pop but secure lid on it. The boxes are stackable too, though it will take our birds a while to go through just one box so we won’t often need to put that to the test.A convenient bulk buy, if you’re not trying to save some pennies by mixing it for yourself.

Nice mix for my Cockatiel
Definitely the nicest seed mix I have purchased for my feathered friend.The perfect amount of sunflower seeds.The pot is nice and sturdy so no need to worry about split packaging with the seed going everywhere

Birds like it!
I have Bourke parakeets. They like this seed. I also bought them the parakeet one, but they like this one better. It seems fresh and does not have any unwanted smells that processed bird feed sometimes have. Also I like that it does not have highly sweet additives like some bird food.
