Very Effective even in Low Pressure
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a lot of grass seed to water & use multiple sprinklers. As a result the water pressure at my other sprinklers drop and they don’t oscillate properly. This Melnor sprinkler is designed to work in low pressure & it does. The controls to adjust the spray area are simple & easy to manipulate. The unit is stable & easy to move. It is a very effective sprinkler at a reasonable price. I recommend it

Reliable, adjustable, and effective sprinkler!
The Melnor MiniMax Turbo Oscillator Sprinkler has been a game-changer for my lawn care! I’m really impressed with how well it covers my yard. It provides an even and consistent spray pattern, and the 4000 sq ft coverage is perfect for my garden and lawn. I can easily adjust the range and flow to fit the specific area I’m watering, which gives me full control over the coverage. This sprinkler is super easy to set up and use—just hook it up to the hose, and it’s good to go. The oscillating motion ensures that the water is evenly distributed across the area without any dry spots. Plus, the durability of this sprinkler is excellent. It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap, even after frequent use.

So adjustable and awesome!
This sprinkler is awesome. I love how adjustable it is. I put it on the low setting and to hardly move to soak my flower beds. Then I put it on the highest pressure and turn everything on fully, and it gets every single part of my garden, and our garden is a very big area. It takes me around 2+ hours to water my flower beds and garden with the hose and with it now being so hot I don’t want to be standing out there doing that. With the sprinkler, I set it in each spot for about 8-10 min to soak the area, I did 25 min for my garden, and I go and do something else while the timer is going. I’m definitely considering getting 2 more as we have 3 hoses and I can get 3 spots watered at once. Seriously this sprinkler is awesome and is saving me from standing in the heat!

Leaks at the hose connection but otherwise seems pretty good.
First, it works as expected. It works well and is easy to adjust everything. It has enough adjustments to handle any normal yard. It has a flow adjustment so if you connect multiplies in series you can control flow/pressure to the individual units. The only issue mine has is it cannot handle any side pressure at the collar connecting to hose. If the hose is not very straight there is a pretty good leak. My hose ends are machined, not pressed. The thread is a good fit and smooth. The end that contacts the sealing ring is wide, flat and smooth. Nothing else I connect to the hose needs to be very tight to seal. A little improvement to the robustness of this connection would be nice.As long as this does not get any worse and considering the price I would consider purchasing again.I'm adding an edit because the leak problems is gone. My only guess is something (piece of plastic??) from production was keeping 2 surfaces from sealing and has fallen out.

Works Better Than Expected – Small but Mighty!
The media could not be loaded. I bought the Melnor 65131AMZ MiniMax Turbo Oscillator Sprinkler on a whim after getting fed up with my old sprinkler that barely reached 10 feet. This thing is compact but impressively powerful. The range adjustment is very intuitive – I can control the width, length, and even focus the spray just where I need it. Perfect for my oddly shaped backyard.Installation was simple: just screw it onto the hose and go. I especially love the Zoom Control feature; I can fine-tune the spray for my garden beds or widen it out for my whole lawn. It’s surprisingly quiet too, which I didn’t expect from something labeled “Turbo.”The included quick-connect system is a nice bonus. I didn't realize how much I’d appreciate being able to snap the hose on and off without twisting like a maniac.Only minor downside: it’s all plastic, so I wouldn’t leave it out in freezing weather. But for the price? Totally worth it. Watering the lawn is finally easy.Pros:Adjustable in every directionCovers a large area for its sizeQuick-connect adapter includedQuiet and smooth operationCons:All plastic, so not ideal for rough handling or long-term sun exposureWould definitely recommend to anyone with a mid-sized yard or garden who wants flexible, reliable coverage without spending a fortune.

Favorite Sprinkler by Far!
I've had three of these, the Spike version.Unfortunately the spike can break and bend easily when inserting it into hard Earth. However, if your careful, using another spiked object to make a hole first, this sprinkler's spike works great too.Once installed it's absolutely perfect for about a year in the hot sun, and then the adjustment tabs rot / disintegrate from the sun's awesome power. Also the rubberized nozzle tips rot in the sun after about a year as well. But if you can get a sale around twenty bucks, it's well worth it. I use the narrow (straight up, vertical) pattern alongside my property line on the west, and adjust the east spray pattern out a bit to cover a part of my yard, it perfect for "strip" coverage! The spray shoots taller than the house and 30 to 40 feet out! Very impressive! I've read about quality issues with the non-Spike versions which simply don't exist in the Spike version. If I can keep these from sun damage they would last forever, perhaps I'll rub them down once a week with SPF-100 lotion :-)

Most versatile sprinkler
Love the versatility. You can easily adjust water strength, the fanning out of the spray, it swivels easily for another location, nice quick release nozzle so you don’t have to thread it on to the hose everytime. It is made of lightweight plastic so could be easily damaged but I feel everything is made that way now.
