Easy, affordable and really good quality
I am starting into voiceover work so getting better mics than my old Yeti Nano. Off of USB and into the XLR world! Wait.... I need power too. The Vocaster One fit the bill nicely. Not only in quality and ease of use, but also without hitting my pockets hard. The gain is really clean, but this does depend on the noise floor of the mic you have hooked up to it. I do have a Dynamic and a Condenser mic I use. I have been playing between both of them the last couple of days and the Vocaster gives both of them a great sound. The auto gain is a nice feature but I do set it manually. The software fx (free download the software from Focusrite website) are a nice touch to quickly to change your tone quickly and you can customize the eq on each of them to dial it in. My Dynamic does not use it but my Condenser loves the Phantom Power built into the Vocaster. Loving this unit and can't wait for more practice time or even recording.

Vocaster two works well with Shure MV7X microphones
I have been using the Vocaster two for about 7 months now, I really like it. Very user friendly! I have two Shure MV7X microphones, they work really well with the Vocaster two. I use them to record podcasts and Youtube videos.

Buy it now, you won’t regret it.
I had a 2i2 Scarlet Audio Int which was around $200 and broke down completely after a year of use. This $80 one is a whole lot simpler, smaller, superior. I use it for gaming comms, discord chatting & twitch streaming. So glad I found this.

Just as advertised
If you're trying to get a focus rite product and you think getting the vocaster and a shortcut for recording vocals for a song is clever don't do it. That's what I was trying to do and I was left underwhelmed. Definitely wish I just saved more money and got a Scarlett instead. Now if your wanting to actually make a podcast with this product then you will be very pleased with it. It's functionality is very good. And it's quality is very good. For what it advertised it lived up to it's hype. Just wouldn't try to use it as a workaround for someone who wants a Scarlett

great value, works well
Great value, works well. Allowed me to use any of my existing microphones and have people on the other end of a Zoom call *hear me*. (Unassisted, my Mac mini doesn't make microphones loud enough, apparently)I'm primarily using it as a preamp for my Audio-Technica ATR2100x-USB microphone (connecting it via the XLR cable), but testing with an additional (second) microphone worked well.

Rock solid, intuitive, and effective
I’ve used this to allow my MacBook Pro to interface with an XLR microphone via USB-C. I like the simple controls and software. I have been able to tweak my audio just a bit and have received compliments for my audio quality. Keep in mind, I’ve paired this with a Samson Q2U microphone (an inexpensive model), so this interface really does a great job.

Only lasted 2 months
Unfortunately my unit only lasted 2 months before developing a hum that could be heard in my recordings basically rendering the recordings useless.Of course it lasted just long enough that im past the return/exchange date. So I’m stuck with a broken audio interface. When it works it’s awesome. Setting up a podcast is a breeze. I wish I could recommend this Vocaster but a 2 month lifespan is absolutely unacceptable. I reach out to the manufacturer but at the time of writing this review I haven’t heard back.Edit: I heard back from the manufacturer and they were basically useless. They claim to have a 3 year warranty on the product but they will make you jump through hoops while they show little to no sense of urgency on their end. Every question they had was to see if the issue is your fault, even though I sent over video proof showing it clearly wasn’t and the unit was doing things on its own, even when microphones are not plugged in. They had the audacity to ask me why the gain on the unit was turned up as loud as it was… um, maybe it was the auto gain feature that they tout in their promotional videos as being a revolutionary feature. So basically if you use a feature of the unit and the unit is defective somehow it was your fault. Makes total sense to me (insert sarcasm here)
