I really like this little fan/cooler. It is small, so truly just a desktop, small room unit. But it is very quiet on the lowest setting. I use it in my office (which seems to somehow be the hottest room in my house) and am able to have it on during Zoom meetings (medium microphone setting) without it disturbing the meeting. It blows directly on me, keeping my immediate area cool. Works for my specific purpose. I think it would also be good blowing on you while sleeping if needed.

This fan really performs! Puts out a good amount of air for its size and does it quietly. Sits securely on the window track. I am buying more for other rooms of the house.

Got the Black+Decker Mini fan to replace a twin fan I had for 30 years. I wanted quiet and small--got both in this mini fan. I like, also, the air flow this unit puts out without the noise of larger fans. The dial control on the front bottom right corner is a plus--I did not want buttons as mentioned in this products desscription. My two complaints are that this fan has a shimmy and vibrates a bit on a hard surface--also, the base is rather narrow making it a bit unstable. I kept it as it is quiet and moves air well--I use it on a padded surface, no vibration noticed. I would look at other options before buying this model again.

Great little fan! Not to big and not to small. It is a quiet running fan compared to others we have had in the past.

If I could give this zero stars I would. I should have known Black and Decker is world famous for making crappy products and this is one takes the grand prize. First of the fan hardly works on its top setting. Oh it's quite all right, like it's not even on! Second removing the filter and wetting it "for best results" is like a Chinese finger puzzle. Third, icing on the cake, the water port to fill the tank is so small you need a small funnel to get water into it. Forget adding ice even if it were crushed, hell even if it was slush. Bonus complaint, It's the size of a easy bake oven, better make room on your desk for this worthless piece of junk, like the whole desk. How is this company still in business?

The fan is great, takes up no room, blows hard, and looks nice. Assembly was easy.The remote does not come with a battery and those batteries are expensive, but once installed, remote works good too.Also, do NOT use the anchors and screws it comes with, they are cheap and don't work. I got some a little bigger and stronger anchors, and now everything is perfect. I do love this space saving fan, so in the end, it was worth it.

This little fan is perfect! Can sit it on the window sill and draw in fresh air. It’s quiet too! For the price you can’t beat it.
