worked great for a while, then jammed and I can’t fix it. There’s not a way to take it apart or fix the middle part of the glue gun. I’ve tried everything and the glue won’t budge from the inside. So disappointing for a relatively expensive tool.

I received the HOTO glue gun on December 8, 2024, hoping it would be a reliable tool for quick home repairs and DIY projects. Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The glue gun worked fine for the first few uses, but after just a couple of weeks, it stopped functioning altogether. The auto-dispensing feature, which initially seemed convenient, now doesn’t work at all, and the glue won’t flow properly despite being fully charged.I was really excited about the cordless and rechargeable design, but the durability is clearly lacking. For the price, I expected better quality and longevity. Now, I’m left with a broken tool and 40 unused glue sticks. I wouldn’t recommend this product unless significant improvements are made to its build quality and reliability. Very frustrating!Update: I originally gave a 2-star review for the HOTO cordless glue gun because the first unit I received didn’t work properly. However, I contacted HOTO’s customer service, and they were extremely responsive and helpful. They sent me a replacement without any hassle, and the new one works perfectly!The glue gun heats up in just 30 seconds, the auto-dispensing feature is convenient, and the USB-C rechargeable battery makes it so easy to use. I also love the sleep design, which adds to its efficiency and safety. It’s been great for DIY projects, school crafts, and quick home repairs.I truly appreciate HOTO’s commitment to resolving issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. It still works as well when I bought it over a year ago! I can never go back to regular hot glue guns now haha.I still haven't used the glue sticks that came with it because the projects I work on require stronger bonds. This works extremely well with Gorilla Glue sticks.

Just one more example of how HOTO is killin' it. their design aesthetic is superior to nearly every other product being made today. And of all that I have purchased from them, I have been very impressed with the build quality, the finishes, and the functionality. This glue gun is no exception. This replaced an older, corded glue gun that always tipped over between uses because of the cord. I can't say enough good things about how well this product works, and damn, it looks good too.
