HoyaCircular Polarizing filter HD Nano MkII ø77mm

Hoya make very good filter systems and I hoped that this would be even better than what I already had.At £145 I expected a great deal but found on arrival that the box had been opened and there were marks on the lens. In other words, second hand or previously sent out.I do not believe that having paid such a premium price for a filter such as this that I should receive a second hand unit that has not been quality control checked prior to dispatch and if charging full price do not send out second hand units - I did not bother to fit to my cameraHope that this helps prospective purchasers

This is an expensive high quality item which was sold as NEW. On arrival the Hoya box was extremely battered and open at both ends. The plastic container containing the 77mm filter was unsealed and grubby. This was clearly a second, or indeed third hand, product sold as new. On its way back to Amazon. This is clearly completely unsatisfactory but prior reviews suggest that Amazon isn't dealing with this issue.

I've tried a lot. Love this one. Very thin so no vignette and, more importantly, no colour cast. Yay. Some CPLs are just horrible in this regard. This one is not and worth the price.
