Fixing my computer screen was definitely a little scary at first, but honestly not as bad as you'd think. The most important thing is to keep track of every screw and where it goes that makes the whole process way easier. Also, be super gentle when handling the parts!I recommend working on a large table if you can. I only had my bed to work on, which made things trickier than they needed to be. The repair kit came with gloves, but I didn’t wear them because I found it hard to work precisely with them on.My laptop was practically brand new only about 4 months old when my kitten bit the screen and cracked it. I had no idea you could actually replace the screen yourself using parts from Amazon, so it just sat broken for nearly a year. Now that I’m getting ready for college, I knew I needed to get it fixed, but when I saw that a repair shop would charge $400, I decided to try doing it myself.I'm really glad I did. It saved me a ton of money, and now my laptop is working perfectly again!The only thing I made a mistake on was I got mixed up between gray and silver my keyboard is grey but my screen is silver... oops... it's okay tho now it just looks like a customized it and now it's unique :)

I had what I think was a cable issue that caused my screen to distort color and proper display. This screen works perfectly and the color is clear and true. I had an IT guy who easily replaced the old screen (under an hour) and my Mac Air is fully functional with perfect screen quality and fit. I've only had it for a week so I can't attest to longevity of product, but so far it's been exactly what I needed.

I was concerned at first because it was my first time changing the screen myself. But the steps were very easy to follow. I’ve realized that when I first switch the screen and turned on the laptop, the Apple logo never came up and I couldn’t see anything except a black screen. I was able to hear the Apple chime when it was turned on. The brightness was also still adjustable. When I thought I couldn’t return the defective screen, I contacted the sevenpuppy after sales customer service. They responded to be within 24 hours and was able to send me a replacement. The new screen they sent works! It fits the MacBook Air and the color is really good quality. It functions and seems durable.I’d order from them again just from their customer service alone! The screen was good too. Make sure you contact their customer service. They were more helpful than Amazon’s.

The media could not be loaded. Ideally, I'd rate this a 3.5, but can only do whole stars. Due to everything, I feel 3 is more appropriate than 4, BUT it did save me $400 dollars, so I'm bumping it up to 4 stars.---------------------------------I was playing with my dog one day and he got so overly-excited, jumped on me, and pushed me onto my laptop. We broke the screen 😫! My Apple Care+ expired two months before this happened so I have to pay out-of-pocket for repairs. I took it to an Apple repair shop and they quoted me a ridiculous $555.37 to replace the screen! Since I can think logically, I said no and purchased this screen replacement instead and decided to change out the screen myself.I've never done anything like this before! So I was scared to try! The instructions are very straightforward and very easy, though I felt safer seeing somebody do it instead. I watched and followed UberGeek's screen replacement video on YouTube which made this replacement soooo much easier. Sadly though, the T8 tip they include in the kit didn't fit in the screw to separate the screen from the bottom of the laptop because it was a tad bit too loose, so it ended up stripping my screws. I couldn't the screws unscrewed no matter what I tried! I tried rubber bands, hot glue, a bandaid, tape, anything I could to remove the screws but nothing worked! My last idea was to use a T9 tip instead hoping it'd grip the screws allowing me to remove them AND put them back on afterwards. I had to buy a $13 electronic repair kit from WalMart that included a lot of different sizes. This kit also does not include tweezers, and the kit I bought from WalMart did, so that kit saved me from 2 things wrong with this screen replacement kit. (I can't recommend the WalMart repair kit enough!!) All in all, besides the anxiety that I wouldn't be able to remove stripped screws, plus the T8 tip not fitting plus the missing tweezers, this kit did save me around $400, so I highly recommend it. It's easy!Don't be scared to try it yourself!!

I was able to replace my macbook air's screen by myself. The process was straightforward. Thank you for including all kits. i do not know how long will this last but at least I don't have to pay a lot to get a new one.

Went in skeptical. Very easy installation (< 30 minutes). Great instructions (with meaningful pictures). Works perfectly. Has MacBook Air and Apple logos just like original screen.

It was a great experience. Taking the antennae out: be patient wiggle and wiggle and it I’ll come out- go around the whole antenna prying it out. And reconnecting the battery: patience also. It wouldn’t align and clip in easily so keep trying until you get it to snap in - gently but firmly. Patience!!!!
