These are great for teaching my toddler anger management. Unfortunately, I killed one accidentally with the vacuum. But the other 2 still live.

I got them for my 3 yr grandson. He has sensory issues but nothing warned about these. He liked the feeling of the balls but he also started chewing them. I believe the age group should start at older than 3.

I tried to use them as sensory toys but they broke right away. They don’t stretch as it looks in the picture. Strong smell.

These are amazing for my sensory seeking kids at work. It helps them stay on task while having their sensory needs met. However, if they hit the ground, they pick up every ounce of dirt to ever exist, so I am disinfecting them CONSTANTLY. Other than that, they have been great !

My granddaughter is dealing with emotional stress and these have helped her more than anything. She even goes to sleep with one. I would recommend these to parents as a calming toy.

My wife originally bought these for our 3 foster children who all have SPD. However, upon opening the box and showing them to our son(31 yrs old), his friend (29 yrs) and myself ...it was unanimously determined that 3 more boxes would have to be ordered so the 3 foster children would be able to play with them too. Myself, our son and his friend played really hard with these for hours throwing them back and forth in the street (approx. 100 ft apart) one of the balls even got stuck in our huge oak tree and then fell approx. 80 ft and hit the hot asphalt (live in south central TX) with no breakage or leaks. They are even easy to clean. We just washed them off with a little hand soap and warm water and they looked like new again. We never ran into any of the problems listed on some of the other reviews. My whole family loves them and we will definitely be purchasing more.

*update*It's been a week and one already burst.*Previous*For starters, the picture is a little deceiving, I don't think this ball was intended to be stretched like that. It's definitely a more "squeeze" type ball. Now, you can stretch it, and the rubber bounces right back to ball shape, but it's not very stress relieving, its difficult to stretch it that far!Secondly, I have a coworker who has this really cool "stress ball" filled with sand. I kept stealing it and playing with it, and figured it was time to search for my own. I searched and searched for something that may be similar. I have to say,I was hoping these had more of a sandy stretchy consistency that sort of kept its shape for a moment when you stretched it like the picture shows. It appears that these are filled with possibly flour, or another white fine powder similar to flour.Despite the non-sandy filling. I like it. When i really stretch out a section it turns more translucenty white and you can see the powder inside. When you do this, if you really go bonkers, a little "nipple" of sorts forms on the ball, but if you let it sit they go away. I worry this might weaken the rubber a bit, but i'll have to keep messing around with them before i update you.The box says non-toxic, i'd say if you have a strong kid, or kids that like to put stuff in their mouth, these are for you. As well, as they sit on my cold office desk, I can tell the longer you leave them the stiffer they get, so if you're looking to increase the hardness for therapeutic reasons, putting them in the fridge should work great to increase the hardness for hand-workouts. Or just an attempt to make them more interesting for a child when you first give it to them.
