I have been getting my hair done at a salon for over 15 years. I have medium brown hair and when my roots start to grow in, I have a decent amount of gray hairs. Normally every three to four weeks, I go to the salon for a root touch up. Well, the last time I went, I was just not happy with the way my hair looked. So, I tried to lighten my hair a little with a common brand of box dye. The results were terrible, none of the grays were covered and my roots were much lighter than the rest of my hair, it really looked horrible. I waited about 2 to 3 weeks and then purchased this AGEbeautiful dye and a 20 volume developer. I had very little hopes on how my hair would end up! I mixed everything up and did my roots first then the rest of my hair, I waited the amount of time per the instructions, and then rinsed everything out. I could not believe the results! It was AMAZING. My hair was all one color and ALL of grays were completely covered! Not only did it look great, it literally looks like I sat in the salon for hours, and my hair looks silky and vibrant! The color is beautiful. I plan to use this to touch up my roots going forward and skip the salon unless I need a haircut. Trust me, purchase this and the 20 volume, you will not be dissapointed, it is not cheap box dye, it is definitely salon grade formula and it was the best decision I made. I will be a customer for life!

This color is AMAZING! I did hair for 20 years and have used the best of the best in salon products. I’ve colored my hair various shades of red for over 30 years. I’m a natural level 7 (no grey) and needed a “Glow Up”. WOW! The depth, the color reflection, the shine…I am hugely impressed! I used the 6RC with 30vol developer and 45 minutes on the time clock to achieve a GORGEOUS true to tone color. (I’ve used 30 vol on my reds for a qtr of a century. Reds have a larger color molecule so depositing is sometimes difficult and tends to wash away quickly. I also do not shampoo my hair for 2-3 days after coloring to allow the cuticle time to completely close). Deposit

I'm really happy with this product. I use equal amounts of 9N and 10 N to get my best color. The 9n is too dark and 10n too light, so mixed together is just right. I follow up with the ION after color conditioner. It makes my hair look thicker and in better condition with color in it. My roots come in white but when I don't add color it doesn't look good at all, too thin and too pale for my skin tone.

If you're looking for a hair dye that will turn you into every Disney villain ever, look no further. I bought the golden blonde shade to tone my already blonde hair that had become brassy. Instead of turning me into a blonde garden fairy with "live laugh love" signs all over my house, the dye turned me into Kim Possible's arch nemesis and I can't stop imagining myself as the hooded Kermit the Frog on the "me to me" meme. My hair went from "couldn't add 1+1 blonde" to "she could solve the DaVinci Code brunette". I tried washing it several times to see if the dye would lift any, but it's here to stay unlike my dad. If you want a hair dye that will give you a full identity crisis and make you scream every time you walk past a mirror because you forgot what you look like, this is for you. 3/10 would definitely recommend to my bald friends.

I have had my hair done at the salon with a semi perm and also perm color. I also have used box dyes. I use black, just to touch up my roots/ greys. I got a leave in conditioner and volume to go along with this. I didn’t use the conditioner until day2, and my hair still felt soft after I dyed it. It feels a lot darker than the box dye. I really like how it covered the greys and also doesn’t stain your scalp for a long period of time like the boxes do. When I got semi hair color put in, it only lasted a few weeks and didn’t cover all my greys. Having two little kids can be difficult, this gives me the e flexibility to do it when I can at home!
