Fit the Sq D QO 200A main breaker panel perfectly and works perfectly . Well made with good instructions. If your not comfortable working in a live panel and familiar with the code requirements then don't do it get pro help

Easy to install with the templates provided. Ensure that you line up the holes correctly and mark them, then dry run to ensure everything will work once you drill the holes. Make sure the interlock is installed square in relation to the punchouts/breakers themselves. This will ensure there isn't too much play, allowing the interlock to perform its function correctly. You want to make sure the interlock will keep the backfed breaker off while allowing the main breaker to move back and forth and vice versa the backfed breaker, when in the ON position, will keep the interlock "up" or stop the main breaker from being turned on.Good quality, good instructions, comes with warning stickers. Seems a bit high priced for something so simple, but this does work and is a perfect fit for Homeline SquareD panels.

I have installed a several versions of these for people and today on Christmas Day 2024, I installed one on a Square D 200A QO panel for my father in law. I recalled that the very first interlock I put on a Square D panel didn’t work like it was supposed to and I had to re drill the holes. This time I lined up the interlock in the position as illustrated in the instructions and noticed it would have been too far to the right and would have overlapped on top of the generator breaker’s toggle. My test fit prior to drilling the holes confirmed my suspicion and so I moved the interlock to the left as shown in my pictures; it works perfectly. To prevent aggravation, I highly recommend to test fit these things no matter what amperage or brand your breaker panel is.

I really liked how easy it was to install. As I highlighted in red make sure you align the template towards the edge of the opening of the breaker panel cover across from the generator breaker. Also the generator inlet box is of a very good quantity and all of the ports inside of it are colored (Black, Red, white) so you can easily connect the wires in the proper location.
