This bag is just the right size for my needs. On one side there are two zipper sections that I use for boxes of ammo. On the other side are three flaps that hold six magazines. On the inside there are two side pouches to protect your firearm. And in the middle there's plenty of room for hearing protection and other necessities. I've seen the smaller version of this bag, but I recommend spending a few extra bucks to get this one. My only complaint is S&W skimped on the zipper pulls. Metal zipper pulls are more durable and they can be secured.

This is an outstanding Tactical Range & Field Bag designed and constructed with the same quality you have come to expect from S&W! I am super pleased! The design was ingenious because it is BOTH compact for field carry but extremely accommodating for your pistol and gear. It easily accommodated my full size S&W 9mm with very adequate support and cushion, and then allowed me additional room inside the bag for 2 ear protection ear muffs and 2 pairs of glasses. I was able to easily zip it without pulling or strain to the zippers or the seams. There are 3 outer ammo magazine pouches that accommodate in separate compartments 6 magazines. Plus, there are two separate outer zipper pockets on the other side of the bag to house other items like a box of ammo or snacks or your wallet. The bag can also be locked by locking though the zippers but this would be for "minor" security like keeping a child out that might stumble upon it in your home. I was looking primarily for one compact field bag to house my gun and equipment for both home, transport and the field. Not too bulky and not heavy but roomy enough to fit my gear and pistol. This works excellent for this. It is also looks very professional and sharp. The design is great and it is made with the highest quality materials. I rate "A++".

I like the gun case but it smells bad. Would of gave it 5 stars but the smell. Setting it outside for a day.

Very nice soft-case with plenty of room for accessories. I use it for my M&P 57.

A little small for what I wanted for the gun range but I'm that guy that you have to drag off the line. It'll hold 8 boxes of shells comfortably on the inside sleeves. I like the extra mag pouch sleeves. It will carry 2 compact and below sized guns no problem. The full sized guns it will carry as well, just check the dimensions of your guns against the pocket sizes, some full larger full sized or full sized with extra add on may or may not fit comfortably in the pouches on the front. The zippers are easy open and easy to grab did to the loops, nothing like what you find on your pants or duffle bags. I can fit both guns, 8 boxes of ammo, my slim sleeve of staples and staple gun, a small first aid kit, and I carry my muffs around the handles. You could carry more depending on how you configure but that's about the most I could fit without starting to add tension in the bag. Overall it's a great bag, worth it to buy. I'll be in the market for a bigger bag soon due to that I prefer to lay down 1,000 rounds at the range. The ranges around here sometimes give you looks when I walk in with my ammo can because I'll shoot between 1 and 4 different ammos depending on how many guns I bring.

The M&P lineup of pistols are second to none! The look great, and shoot even better! In my opinion, they deserve to be transported in a product of equal class and quality! This 2 pistol carrier with mag pouches and zippered storage fits the bill! Do you shoot a Shield, EZ, Compact, Full Size? You should get this case for trips to the range!!
