Cheddar Cheese-Making Kit

Good for making cheese

My brother and his wife are homesteaders. She cooks a lot from scratch and mostly from her homegrown garden. They loved this gift! They haven't used it yet, but for someone difficult to gift, it was a hit!

I thought the flavor was a bit mild but over all it is great. I couldn't wait the full 9 months to get the flavor I want . My kids love it when I use it make cheese biscuits. This is why it never makes it to the 9 months.

This kit has all the ingredients that you need except milk. Everything is packaged for one gallon batches,I doubled my first batch and it was fine. Can't wait for it to age for a couple months to try it. You will need a thermometer,cheese mold and a press to make cheddar.

It seems pointless now as hot as it was when the package arrive… but I put it in the freezer anyway.I expected more product when I purchased it.

This worked well, made first block of cheese need to age, to seehow it turned out

Just not the taste I was expecting, following directions exactly.
