We use these cables in our cars because my husband’s and my phone require different chargers (usb-c and lightning). One of the two is glitchy like it has a short in the wire so it’s constantly connecting and disconnecting. The other charges both of our phones fine but will only recognize the lighting connector for Apple CarPlay. The usb-c connector it won’t recognize as a phone connected.
