My old one was over 8 years old, it is so nice having a new one and a backup. It is much nicer when taking my blood readings.

Product came open, seal broken and lancet device did not work. I promptly returned it. It should never be resold.

I broke the lancing device of my doctor gave me. And rather than go through the nausea of contacting my doctor and getting a prescription for a replacement unit, I found it easier to buy this on Amazon. The price was reasonable, and it is identical in every respect to the professional one that I had.

I have had this one twice now. I lost it and instead of going w whole kit insurance coverd I bought this to go w other kit. I even take to hospital with me to use instead of their stuff. Quick and painless

I bought this for my mother who had a stroke. I thought it would be easier to use than the lancet alone, however I found that loading this and using it was more work and it hasn’t really been getting used. This may help others who are a bit more needle squeamish but didn’t really find it helpful and I wouldn’t have purchased it knowing that its not as user friendly as I had anticipated. Not a horrible product, but more of a personal preference as to if this would be useful.

Poking your finger is just going to hurt, period, but this one seems a bit better than the one I used previously.
