I am having an issue with my AC system in Florida : (I purchased this AC unit just in case I could not get any quick service which is not unusual in Florida.I fabricated a small platform for an AC unit in a window and used some styrofoam on the sides and closedthe window on top of the ac unit in our bedroom. This AC unit is a wife saver : )

Air conditioning run very cold in one hour awesome!!!! I recommend use manual switch than digital too confuse and messed up the program so I use manual switches so much easier just turn the switch on and go and the price is great bought for $136.00 good deal was $169.00

Got it put together and installed by myself, wasn’t easy but i did it. Seems to be working well. I have a huge gripe though. Why does the vent ( where the cold air comes out) only go left and right not up and down???! Most windows are not waist level soo I’m missing out on a lot of cool air that’s going shoulder level only and then rising. Was it really that much of a cost saver for the manufacturer that they couldn’t make it go up and down? If i had known this, i wouldn’t have bought this model because I’m wasting electricity.

I purchased this same model back in April 2022, and it worked great—kept my bedroom cool and comfortable through the summers of 2022, 2023, and finally gave out in 2024. When we had an unexpected heatwave in March, I decided to buy the exact same model again.Unfortunately, after installing it, I noticed it wasn’t cooling at all like my first unit did. It barely made a difference, even with a floor fan and ceiling fan running—I had to sleep without a blanket just to stay somewhat comfortable.Sadly, since I installed and used it, I can’t return it. I’m not sure what changed, but this unit is nowhere near as effective as before. It feels more like a regular fan than an AC. I wouldn’t recommend this, as you only realize the issue after going through the hassle of installation. It simply never got cold.

Works great!! It keeps our room cool!!
