Finally finished done complete 1920's house from outside along top line of engineering bricks. Rods inserted at Perth's.So first point.Instructions not clear. 120mm rod separation or at Perth's?I would say the hole clearing tool is essential and not an option. You cannot rely on drill bit to clear holes. This tool is real quality and does a good job.Don't drill/clear holes one day and come along the next and expect a clean insertion. You will have to drill/clear holes again; especially if it rained.Rod insertion. Rods should not be compressed. So ensure holes are clear and insert in one clean evenly pressured action. If you stop they may jam and not want to be pressed in or extracted.One could ask is the safeguard supplied 12mm drill bit really up to the job and are tolerances just a little too tight.The dryrod cutter tool is a cheap pile of pants. Mine fell apart and blade blunted after only a handful of rods. For the price of this tool I would expect to be able the replace blades, and obviously not to fall apart, see picture.I bought 3 fifty packs and recommended tools.I now need to wait 6-12 months to know if my installation has been successful and to know if dryrods do the job.Would I recommend this job for your average DIYer. Yes, but not as straight forward as one might think.Phone support is excellent.Am I a happy chappie? Time will tell.

Purchased to update damp proof at front of house. Great price against what I had been quoted to get job done. More than enough in kit to do front of house.

This kit comes with almost everything you need except an SDS drill itself. Follow the instructions and you can’t go wrong. I installed these all along the front of the house where we have had rising damp problems due to the age of the property. Make sure you remove render and expose the brickwork if it’s touching the ground like ours was and then use the sealing paint that the company also sell, expensive but very good. I did the work last summer so 6 months later I’m here reviewing it, and the walls are dry, musty smell is gone and the mould in retreat. I’d highly recommend this product and also everyone with mild DIY skills should be able to install.

I ended up sending back as not suitable for what I needed it for. I had to pay postage to return item which is not what you’d expect from an item purchased on Amazon.

Saw this product advertised was very sceptical, watched videos read reviews. Not the cheapest thing ,however I purchased the introductory kit . I was not disappointed, very easy to install, after seven day slight improvement in the dampness. After ten to twelve days it was quite unbelievable. This product performed even better than I had anticipated.......highly recommend
