Awesome
Lots of lovely patterns, not too complex. One of the best adult colouring books I've ever bought. I love it!

Lovely
This is a super colouring book, filled with beautiful designs that aren’t so intricate that you feel stressed trying to colour it. It’s also great to be able to finish a design in one sitting. The paper is like copier paper, very thin, so the felt tips (if that’s what you use) bleeds right through, so I put an A4 sheet of thin card behind the picture I’m doing so the markers don’t ruin the next design. I was disappointed that it hasn’t got the black backing on each page like my other Jade Summer books, it looks pretty awful without it to be honest, as you can see in my photos. It’s also got the title of the book printed on the back of each design, which is faintly visible through the paper, which isn’t a good thing. Apart from those negatives, I love the book, and when it’s finished I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.

Bold, relaxing designs to colour
I bought this colouring book because I wanted relaxing, bold designs to colour in as a means of stress relief and to give me something to focus on while listening to podcasts or audiobooks. It's quite hard to find colouring books with bold, non-fiddly designs that aren't really twee or tacky - I'm not someone who wants to colour rainbow unicorns - but these abstract patterns are really fun and soothing to colour with lots of scope for creativity.I use art markers with this book and although the paper is good quality, you will get some bleed-through with inky markers, so I'd recommend just putting a piece of scrap paper under the page you're colouring to avoid marking the design on the next one. Obviously this won't apply if you colour with pencils or crayons. My only criticism is that two or three of the pages had mistakes in the designs where a small element of a pattern's symmetry was missing, but there are a hundred designs so this isn't a major issue.

Gamble paid off.
Due to covid and shielding I have been completely reliant on Internet shopping since early March 2020 and am very grateful it is there to help. It has one major downfall, however, especially when buying colouring books; you cannot feel the quality of the paper, cannot see if the designs are on both sides, cannot flip through to see if you like the majority of the patterns / florals/ pictures. I took a gamble with this book and, for a change, won.The designs are bold, printed on smooth albeit thin paper and only on one side, the reverse of the sheet is black. I doubt I will have any issues with my coloured pencils and look forward to trying my Spectrum Noir markers. I always place an acetate sheet behind my page to avoid bleed into the next page; where pages are double-sided I use only pencil. One day I will once again be able to stand in a shop and choose something I can see, hold, feel the heft and compare it to other, similar things but that day remains some way off. I will buy another book in this range, I think there is a botanical one so as I improve I will reward myself with that challenge.

Nice patterns
I bought some gel pens and a colouring book to help me relax and it works so I decided to buy some more colouring books with a good variety of patterns.
