This is a good idea for sensory activity. The room lights up, the led lights are quite bright. You can use battery’s or plug which is UK. The box is very basic though if giving as a gift. The fish look quite cheap and toy like but when you actually get it working, the fish look better in water. The jellyfish can sometimes get tangled but this would happen in anything similar. I would recommend though, great for autism and stress relief whether in a bedroom or a work office. Great and soothing to watch. Not too noisy

The media could not be loaded. I sometimes use this as a mood lamp instead of the one on my desk because the colours are so nice, I'm always staring at this through the night and it looks so real. I didn't put the fish in there though, I personally didn't like them, but I think it looks more authentic with just the jellyfish, the fish are hard plastic so they bang on the walls but this one is much more relaxing. The colours can stay on one colour or you can make them cycle between each colour.

This is a nice product I could not get the Bluetooth on it to work for the music. However not what I wanted it for I used deionised water from the petrol garage and it works a treat. It does not look like real jellyfish though- you can tell they are plastic. they also move quite fast and the jelly fish doesn’t go up and down like a jellyfish they just get thrown around by the water so not very natural. However the colours are really niceI would say they may be better options out there

I brought this for my sons 6th birthday as he wanted a fish tank, easy to esemble just fill it with water, pop lid on & plug in! Power on with on/off button and press the button to the right for beautiful colours!The jellyfish look like they are dancing it's so soothing & therapeutic to watch, we all love it!However with the lid being easily available to take off & on I do have concerns he will be messing about with it haha.5 stars & worth every penny

Second one I have purchased in as many weeks, this one had definitely been used prior to receiving it as it had water marks, and dirt inside, and did not work.

My kid loves this jellyfish lamp in their bedroom! They spend hours relaxing and playing with the different light colors, creating a fun and calming atmosphere. OK so I think the product is made well. However the motor does not work. I really wanted it to work.

Just received this and it was delivered really quickly.I have set it up using filtered water...about 1.5 litres. I soaked the jellyfish in separate bowl of hot water with a few drops of washing-up liquid first, and then gave them a good rinse with plain water, before putting in the tank. I pushed them down gently and got rid of as many bubbles off them that I could. If they have bubbles on them they won't swim properly. Instructions are on the box and in small leaflet inside.Switched it on and the jellyfish are swimming around perfectly, slowly going up and down and around. I was worried they would whizz round too fast but they go around gently and look natural. The lamp is silent, unlike some I have heard about. The lamp stays on for about 4 hours before automatically switching off.Really pleased with it and it seems to be well made. can't wait till it gets dark to see the full effect of the lights.I have also registered the item with the manufacturer online for peace of mind.Thoroughly recommend.Edit : Had it about a fortnight and can now hear the pump slightly. You would hear it if the room is silent, but not if you have normal background noise. Also for some reason the small jellyfish won't swim any more and just stays at the bottom of the tank. It doesn't look damaged so I don't know the reason why. I'll try and get a replacement. I'm still very pleased with the lamp though.2nd edit : I contacted seller ( High Light LED ) and they replied straight away. They have now sent me a complete new lamp. Exceptional service.I also asked if I could buy extra jellyfish, but unfortunately they're not sold separately.
