Works like magic
Charlottes Fusible Web thread works great. After attaching one side to my flannel quilt binding to my quilt, I zig-zaged a medium stitch in the seam allowance with the web thread in my bobbin . Then I turn the binding and pressed the folded edge down. The web thread adhered to the back side of my binding so I could sew on the front side or in the ditch if I placed the back correctly and I could sew it without having to use pins. It ensures that you catch the underside of your blanket binding. I was concerned that using all flannel would be too thick and it won't work. But that was not the case. It worked beautifully. I will always use it to attach my bindings now. Thank you Superior Threads for Charlottes fusible web thread.

Fusible Thread is Real
This is a tool I used for appliqué. It is possible to stabilize an object over another layer of appliqué, if fusible webbing isn't appropriate or available. Interesting product, experimentation is advised.

Love this thread
I use this in my sergers lower looper when I sew bindings on quilts. Turning the binding to the front, it allows me to press/fuse the binding in place before machine stitching. Completely changed the look of my finished wuilts

Quilt binding secret
I learned a quilt binding secret. Put this in the lower looper of your serger, then thread the others with regular serger thread. Sew on your binding, fold over your binding and press with a medium iron, the glue will melt and hold your binding in place so you can stitch it down in the perfect position.

Good idea, good product...just not for what I wanted to use it for
I bought this with thought to use it to secure final wrap of binding on quilt edge. For that use, one must use the thread thickly (given the tension of wrapping the binding) and I found that not all areas held tight. I found either liquid school glue or glue stick gives me more precision because if adjustment is needed, the glue pops apart but not so much the fusible thread areas - this is my problem, not the product. I can see where this thread would be very useful for attaching appliqué pieces, but I use freezer paper method and have no need for fusible thread. I am sure that, down the line somewhere, I will find other uses for it (possibly attaching bias strip stems to background fabric - just running it underneath and pressing). So, my opinion - good product, give it a try, just not good for me with binding. Do follow the instructions and watch the video available online.

Great thread for sewing on bindings
this thread is very helpful when sewing a binding to a quilt. I put it in the bobbin and by-pass the tension.

Time saver!
Worked great! I used it in the lower looper of my serger when putting binding on a quilt. Pressed and it holds the binding in place so I can sew it in without having to pin or use clips.

keeps the edge of my handwoven fabric from unraveling
just used this for the first time. I weave my own fabric and am using this thread to weave the first few rows at the beginning and end of the weaving. When I take the fabric off the loom I just iron the fusible thread (between two sheets of parchment paper to keep the iron from sticking to the thread) which causes the thread to melt,. This gives my fabric a secure edge that keeps it from unraveling. It also gives my edge a little extra grip when I turn it under to hem.
