5 healthy Ramshorne Snail
Intended for a 3m by 3m pond thought I'd keep them in a aquarium for a few weeks with a pond lily and other pond plants on day 5 4 sets of eggs had been laid under a leaf and day 11 a second leaf had 4 sets of eggs so a 5 snails ranging from 22mm to 31mm are healthy and had been carefully selected by seller so I intruded 3 of the snails to the pond and a week later spoted 1 on surface and when drifted to a lilly leaf crawled under so looking good and hoping for lots of snails for algae cleaning and the snails themselves are so interesting I intend to keep some in a aquarium

Gamble if alive on arrival.
Ordered 10 of these, 1 small one was dead upon arrival, but the other 9 were fine. 5 were large, 4 medium. Overall happy.

Good size
Well not the largest Ramshorn snails I have seen . But a fair size. Arrived promptly and the snails seemed fit and well. Let’s see how they do?

5 alive snails
Was very wary of ordering live creatures on line but arrived a day earlier than expected. On opening the tub no sign of life big I pooped them in the prepared bucket with blanket weed.Within half an hour they were all munching away happily so transferred to the small pond which will be there home. They seem happy enough in there hopefully helping with the blanket weed problem

Death in transit
2 of the 5 snails were dead on arrival. I kept all 5 in a container of pond water to equilibrate, 3 immediately became active, and are now happily munching algae in one of our ponds. The other two show no signs of life after several days.

Pond snails
Put straight into pond on arrival , floating container on top of water for twenty minutes. Only seen one so don’t know if their alive , may be eating algae at bottom of pond 👍
