I have been using this funnel and filter in wine service for a couple of months now. I am satisfied in how well it works and fits decanters. I have also been running it through the dishwasher and it is still in good shape.PROS:-affordable-works perfectly to catch sediment and cork pieces-fits in most decanters-removable mesh filterCONS:-construction is a little cheap, but not issues so farI would recommend this to everyone opening wine regularly. It should be mandatory for wine service in restaurants where high end and/or aged bottles are being served. It is a small price to pay for professionalism!

Great inexpensive little device. I have 10 + cases of California Napa Valley wines from the late 1990’s.It seems that many of the corks from that era tend to crumble upon extraction or perhaps after 20+ years in the bottle??For years I have struggled with cork remnants in my decanter.This item was a true savior of this era of heavy wine sediment Cabs, with crumbling corks.A cheap device that eliminates the fear opening old wine !Buy one!

Good construction, great value for the price, and perfect for filtering a whole bottle of wine through those new wine filters (they work!) it's also a great size. We decant just about every bottle of red wine we have through a filter and this makes it very easy to do.

Impressive look, with its own metal screen for decanting. Perfect for double decanting (bottle to decanter/back to bottle). Fits the neck of a bottle as well as that of a decanter! It isn’t plastic!!!

Received this quicker than I had expected and ended up using it within a few hours. The funnel size is perfect and allows for comfortable pouring. The strainer is nice as well. It sits inside the funnel without moving while pouring which is nice. I've used this to pour wine from the bottle into a decanter, and back into the bottle again. The curved spout is a nice touch as well, it allows for the wine to flow down the side of the bottle/decanter which helps with aeration (especially allowing you to hit the sweet spot of the decanter). Considering buying a second for my parents.
