Pretty darn cheap wood. Hardest part to put on was the spring inside.It's cute. My kids 6 and I'm worried if he plops himself on it it'll break. We will see I guess. . Would recommend for 5yrs old and under honestly. The size fits my 6 yr old fine. He can use it as a little desk for homework or snacks. I feel bad asking him to be careful when he sits on it SMH lol. Since the back part of the chair flips to be a table, I feel like I may have to tighten the screws from time to time also because if the kind that's used on the legs connected to the chest. Not too bad. Idk if I would purchase again because the wood is cheap, it's cute but I'm iffy on a second purchase . Hope this helps other buyers. I give it a 4/5 .

My son loves it, and I love the fact that it triples as a bench, toy chest, and desk! I only gave four stars because the instructions went super clear in putting it together, which wasn't hard but it took a few times for us to figure out the right way to put in the slow closing hinge properly. But the colors are very vibrant and it seems really study for the price. It's also a lot bigger than I expected. Good perfectly with good pirate themed room!

This is the perfect fit for grandmas nautical nursery for a grandson. This is a perfect size for a 2 year old, toy chest not too large or too small. Perfect storage for the smaller toys and the table is perfect size for activities like puzzles etc., or a mini snack time. Absolutely would recommend this one.

Easy to put together but it's cheaply made wood breaks very easy. The screws fall out of wood. The wood has cracked in two places.
