The best incisional hernia support I’ve ever bought!
This is a brilliant product. I have quite a big incisional hernia and have been advised not to have surgery. I have tried lots of different supports but only just discovered this one. It has made me feel normal again. It’s so comfortable and the pad holds the hernia gently but firmly. I ordered a second one as soon as I’d had the first for a day. I can’t recommend this product highly enough. I’m sure I will be buying it again but for now I have two and I wear them both day and night. One final point, unlike others I’ve tried this can be worn next to the skin with comfort. Brilliant and the service was so quick.

Love it, but …
What a relief not to be poking around in your belly button every 10 minutes, first day or two was such a pleasure, unfortunately even though I was happy, my body, no so much, they shaped pad, although very soft, started to make my skin sore and after two nights sleeping with the belt on, I started to wake up with a slight amount of back ache, have worn it on and off a fair bit since but only when my hernia is “acting up”, a shame really, very comfy to wear, even when siting or sleeping, you might have better luck, even just wearing the belt helps

Be aware of the fastening instructions on this belt
Have had a number of different belts over the last year or so, whilst waiting to be seen about an umbilical hernia. The others have tended to either fray on the edges, or become too stretchy. They are meant to stretch a bit, of course, but they are also meant to offer support and hold everything in place. Time will tell with this one, but a couple of minor issues so far.The pad to place over the hernia bulge has velcro on the back but does not stick onto the actual belt all that firmly. It could do with a velcro circle on the inside to attach it to, like some other cheaper ones have. It would just make the pad feel more secure. With all the other belts I've had the pad attaches to the left side and you overlap it, right over left. This belt says to attach it the other way round, put the pad on the right hand side and then overlap from left to right. This feels wrong for me and makes it difficult to get the pad in the right position and then fasten it. It's much easier to do it the other way so I'm having to turn the belt upside down so that I can still fasten it the way I am used to, right over left. Doesn't seem to make much difference, other than the logo is now upside down, but as it's not on show to anyone I can live with that! The main issue will be how it feels in a few months time. The fastening instructions are something to be aware of though.

Effective and well made
This was selected after a lot of research. The reason being shape of the silicone pad would fit into my navel and keep everything in place until my surgery. Plus the description also said it could be used after surgery.Holding the hernia in has made me feel so much comfortable that I have been able to return to a wider range of exercise in the gym and at home so in only a week my muscle control had significantly improved to the point where I could hold my tum in without pinching the hernia even when I wasn't wearing the belt.#The belt is very comfortable, although it is best worn over a tea shirt rather than against the skin. I do have one little reservation and that is the positioning of the two stiffening strips. depending upon your waist size and the amount of overlap of the fastening the stiffening strips can work out to be in a position that dig in a bit. If these could be easily removed or repositioned this belt would be perfect.

Game changer for umbilical hernia
Almost disabled with pain (actually was) unable to walk, shop doing daily living stuffSaw this on Amazon though I’d got nothing to loose Glad I didI initial bought the large size but didn’t support me enough so bought the small one. (I ain’t skinny) but that made all the differenceMake sure you get the right size, it really does need to fit snug but not uncomfortably. The included pad pushes the belly button in Horray 😂This is the one if you have umbilical hernia 100%. Just get it I got surgery 20th June but actually will continue to wear just the belt for supportSpot on 👍

Umbilical belt
The item was good but sadly it wasn't for me I sometimes wear fitted clothes and I found it to b a little bulky at the front where the Velcro fits together so returned it
