Yeah it can be, though the molle straps are different to usual ones and instead of pop studs are folding tabs

Q: Can it fit a water bottle

No, but the essential equipment pouch does. Or even the E&E pouch, though it’s not quite the right shape.

Q: Can this be used for ear defenders?

If you have slimline ear defenders that fold up they will fit, if you have large ones with comms mic (like Peltor etc), they might not fit.
