HD 2000W Portable Electric Pipe Threader 6 Dies Threading Machine 1/2" to 2"

This product is a great buy, it’s very affordable and reliable. Worth the money.

This unit is great for small pipe threading jobs worked perfectly for threading 3/4 galvanized not sure on larger sizes yet but if you oil it properly you should not have problems

Got through almost one full 2 inch thread and the motor smoked and burned out. We stopped about every 4-5 seconds to let it rest/cool. Maybe would be OK for smaller threads but need a beefier machine for the larger threads.

Have some problems with the die messing up the threads when you reverse the machine after threading. Not sure if the type of pipe i have (Home Depot). Or something to do with the dies themselves. It has happened with 1/2" 3/4" and 1". Try to clean out all the threading chips from die before reversing, which seems to help.

It threaded 2” pipe easily, you can do it with one hand, I had several 2” pipes to cut and thread, and it made it easy. I was nervous because of the price , much cheaper than the competition, but amazed at it’s performance, would recommend this to anyone who needs a threader often but not every day all day. It worked great for me, and what I needed and still need to do, but still with a nother customer that said, they don’t know know we’re to get replacement dies,? because they will wear all in all a great inexpensive product I give two thumbs up.

It worked just fine for the 2" thread on galv. Pipe. I was surprised of the power it has.Not sure how long it will be dependable.

On my third thread of 1.5" steel schedule 40 black pipe and for each threading cut the thing starts arcing and smoking. I let it cool off for 20 minutes and try again. It seems under-powered or there is some other defect, but obviously a manufacturing flaw in the design or construction. I will be returning it. Too bad as I was only needing it for the periodic threading operation.
