It does not create ammonia directly. However, the dead algae cells decay and mineralized which can produce small amounts of ammonia.

Q: I forgot to shake the bottle...do I need to start over? Also, it left white residue spread all over the gravel is that normal?

You do not need to start over. Maybe add some aquarium water to the bottle, shake and pour into the tank. The white residue is normal.

Q: Is it safe to use if I just used rapid fix ich repair on my tank ?
