Lists about all of the local species on an foldable, laminated card.It is not water resistant however. Was inside of backpack during a light rain and it absorbed water like crazy and now in terrible shape. Would have been a 5 star if better laminated.

High quality and surprisingly 100% waterproof. This was the perfect pocket guide to pull out rain or shine. I also used permanent marker to check off animals as they came about. Also recommend a more detailed book to compliment this but the reference map on the back was super handy as we navigated the itinerary!

Great animal identification. This will be easy to pack for my trip. I’ll use it as a reference and a way to keep up with the animals I see.

When I pulled this out, and noticed even my Professional Ecuadorian tour guides used it, there as some solid street credit for me. It was useful for a large amount of quick animal identification. I love how it is portable, and durable. Popped it in my back pack and was able to spot wildlife all over the islands. It was even on the coffee table at one of my Air BnBs.

Brochure is a good size, laminated for durability, and has clear color pictures

I am currently watching a documentary on the Galápagos Islands and bought this little guide to see what it is like.At the back is a stylised map with the different islands and where you are likely to see what wild life-- I liked the map and its information.The guide is a number of illustrations per page of mainly Reptiles and Birds. The illustrations are in colour and reasonable.You are told the name of the creature and its length or height.One pointer for identification may be given.The birds are males ,usually in breeding plumageSome will like this little work, others not.I personally liked it ( I wouldn't use it as my only guide to the Galápagos Wildlife )For me it filled a need for quick identification.I think it is worth the money

I loved everything about this book. Took it on my trip to Santa Cruz and it travelled well ..identified most of the birds and other animals. Loved that the pages are wipe clean...means I can wipe off spillage, mark my finds and the book still looks brand new! Saw similar books on the Galapogus and they were twice the price so extra glad i bought before my trip. Thank you.

One day we plan to visit this brilliant place it's on our hit list.I have purchased these guides before and they are so good.They take up no room really in your rucksack and they are proctected from the weather. The photos of are also brilliant.Yes would reccommend to my friends

Very useful compact guide to carry in the field.

I bought this in conjunction with a larger guidebook, I left the guidebook at the hotel when on day-trips - but this was small, light and thin enough to carry about with me.Nicely laminated so that it's hardy, and clear pictures and descriptions.
