Vin Bouquet FIA 216 Can lid. Can Stopper taht allows you enjoy drinks cleaner.

I bought four of these for the summer, basically to keep out flies and insects during BBQs. The lid snaps onto the soda and beer cans properly and the retractable opening works correctly. When the lid was completely closed, there is no leakage and keeps the fizz no more or less than an opened bottle of soft drink. It would have been good if there are more colours as this would help to guard your own drink during an outdoor party.

The idea behind this product is great but it is too small and too rigid to fit to the can. As cans are now made of much more flimsy material, they buckle as you try to fit this lid. The only way I could fit it was to turn the can upside down and push down with force, onto the lid. I then had trouble removing the lid as it was such a very tight fit. Clearly that was no solution as you have to open the can to use the sliding part of the lid and once opened you cannot really turn it over to fit the lid!

I wasn't sure about this at first as you can see my first attempt at fitting it resulted in me being squirted with soda as the can bent under the pressure. It really wasn't going on. So I placed it in a cup of hot water for about 10 seconds and it instantly fit. All it needed was softening slightly. Perfect!

We bought 2 of these one for each of us so we can move away from plastic bottles and we are happy with them. They do seal the normal (standard) size cans they sort of snap on over the ridge (a little fiddly) so we are buying some more for presents.

I was not able to choose the colour I wanted. I assumed that having being shown the red one, that is the colour I would have received, instead I got the blue...terribly disappointed by that! There will be some residue on top of the lid when you close it off so be ware. Other than that, works fine.

Really disapointed in this product. Tried on three different cans and it would not fit.Eventually I managed to fit it with difficulties on.a can of pepsi max. Then I opened the can, tried to fit the lid again...it crushed the can!Save your money. Buy something else!

These are definitely a great option for clumsy people like me who spill open drinks a lot. I love that you can close it and it doesn't spill when knocked over
