Integrated Car Wired Side View Camera Monitor System, LED Blind Spot HD Camera Kit + 5" HD TFT LCD Color Display, Powered by Cigarette Lighter

I absolutely love this camera kit. It is very easy to install, it comes with everything you need. You can just stick the power plug into your power port (cigarette lighter, remember those?) or they also provide you with a power cord with two bare wires that you can permanently connect to your car's electrical system if you so desire. It comes with a little tool to help pull weather stripping aside. It comes with double-sided tape, clips, weatherproof tubing for the wiring. It's fantastic. So I mounted mine under the passenger side mirror and I stuck the monitor to my dash using the supplied tape. I can now clearly see my blind spot, and because it is a bit of a fish-eye lens I can see all the road stripes on the ground, very handy when trying to fit inside a parking space. In extremely bad weather, storms, for example, the lens fogged up. But once the humidity dropped it cleared up. It rarely happens but you should know that's possible. Here's the thing I'm conflicted about. The nighttime vision is so good it's scary. Even on a totally dark road, you can clearly see the side of your car and for an amazingly long way down the road. I parked my car and took a good look at it. Oh, crap. It's visible light, not infrared. I thought it would be infrared. I should have guessed that when the image stayed in color even at night. You'll have to decide if it is showing enough white light to get you stopped by the police or if it bothers other drivers. You can reposition the camera to point the lights more downward so as not to be in people's faces but adjust the camera to look back. The lens is adjustable nearly a full 90 degrees, it's incredible. I highly recommend this affordable and high-quality kit.

I installed today under my passenger side mirror. The Camera has lights that come on at night. Looking at my while driving the lights are very much a distraction. I can’t install where it’s not visible by the driver or the passengers. This system is useless at night as far as I’m concerned. Good picture daytime. Will be a lot of trouble to uninstall the camera. I have to take my door panel off. 😕😕😕

Marvelous technology. The poorest excuse for installation instructions ever. seen. One 3 x 5 page showing wires hooked up on a table. I got it working. Some parts still in the bag I did not use. One part giving insulation to a wire I might have figured out how to use but I had already gotten too far into the installation to go back. Also apparently really designed as a back up mirror because at night led lights shine and right in the eyes of the passenger side rider. If you can't find another brand buy it, but look around first.

Solid product, great value for the money and for how much I paid I can't complain about the picture quality it's not bad. With the perfect conditions and lighting you see everything perfectly but other than that it can be hard at times to see what's what on the screen. Would have rated 4 possibly 5 stars because you have to consider the price but my screen was broken (still operational) upon receiving the product and when I contacted them the said to buy a new one. The dropped them 1.5 to 2 stars. If you get a working one I recommend this product.

Got this setup just fine, but it takes a bit of work if you want to make it look professional and conceal most of the wires. The monitor was great, but I had a problem with the camera. It was a mirror image regardless of if I cut the proper wire or not. But must say the vendor had very good customer service. He sent me a replacement camera with no problem and now it works just fine.

Camera is not waterproof, and the picture went blurred after a rain stormthere was water inside the lense.Eventually it did dry out, and we got the picture backI am going to try adding silicon to waterproof it

Installed one on each side of the truck. Took 15 minutes each side & the HD screen is fantastic. Very detailed viewing. Great field of view but the small 5" screens have to be located close to the driver......they're only 5".Will have to see if they hold up over time.

Great picture. Easy install. Good field of view. I use it for covering the blind-spot on the passenger side.4 remarks:1. The night-light is intriguing. A small plastic cover would hide it from the driver.2. One user wrote that he replaced the camera 3 times because of water damages. So I sealed the camera thoroughly with silicon glue.3. I could use more cable-clips. They gave 4.4. I have to change manually the brightness to agjust to day and night.Nevertheless I recommend the product. Good value for money.
